Recently unveiled by The General to debut the full-size crossover’s third generation, the 2025 Buick Enclave gets new styling borrowed in part from the Buick Wildcat EV concept, an overhauled cabin, and a new engine. Now, GM Authority has learned three colors will be dropped from the exterior paint palette for the new model year.
Specifically, the 2025 Buick Enclave is set to lose Emperor Blue Metallic (color code GA0), Rich Garnet Metallic (color code GLR) and Sage Metallic (color code G6N). Two new colors will indirectly replace the retired paints.
The Rich Garnet Metallic paint color was introduced for the 2020 model year as a no-charge option available on the range-topping Avenir trim level only. Emperor Blue Metallic and Sage Metallic were both introduced for the 2022 model year, each available at an extra charge of $495 and offered on all trim levels and in conjunction with all interior colorways.
The 2025 Buick Enclave will get two new paint colors, including Ocean Blue Metallic (color code GXP) and Smokey Amethyst Metallic (color code GXK).
The following list shows all exterior paints offered for the 2025 model year (relevant color codes in parenthesis):
- Cherry Red Tintcoat (GNT)
- Ebony Twilight Metallic (GB8)
- Moonstone Gray Metallic (GXD)
- Summit White (GAZ)
- White Frost Tricoat (G1W)
- Ocean Blue Metallic (GXP) – new for 2025
- Smokey Amethyst Metallic (GXK) – new for 2025
More details of the two new colors among the seven available exterior paints will be provided at a later time.
As for the interior, the third-gen Enclave gets a 30-inch ultra-wide infotainment screen as standard. The array of tech doesn’t end there, but also includes wireless device charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and safety features like Blind Zone Steering Assist, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Departure Warning, among others.
The 2025 Enclave offers the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system as an option for all trim levels. Motivation is supplied by the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine, developing 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque and paired with the GM eight-speed automatic transmission. FWD is standard while AWD is optional.
The GM C1 platform continues to provide structure for the 2025 Buick Enclave. Production will take place at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan.

Losing Garnet without a replacement won’t go over well. In any event, all are an upcharge, which is the biggest ripoff going these days, second only to inflated destination charges.
Okay. It’s time for GMA to post a more detailed story regarding the 2.5L I4 LK0 engine.
It’s a smaller version of the currently available 2.7L. Are the any other details you would like to know
Yes, how does it pair with this large SUV? What is the driving experience. Is it smoother that the 2.0L? After driving the 2.0L, I am not impressed.
SHOW US THE NEW COLORS!! PLEASE!
Showing us what options we are LOSING is rather pointless (Only HALF of the story) without showing their REPLACEMENTS!
Charging for exterior colors? Wow! It IS another rip off, definitely! 👎👎👎
WHY do they offer Summit White on Buicks? Got a rental fleet customer who specs it?
Should keep it to the Express vans and work/commercial trucks.
I am a huge Buick fan and am so happy that Buick is doing great, has conquered China, and builds great cars world-wide. BUT………Smokey Amethyst……..uck! Nobody bought that color 8-10 years ago when last offered. Boring Blue…..really? Come on Buick, look at your stable-mates Chevy and Cadillac. No greens, are you kidding? What a boring palette of colors brand-wide. And what is that horrible baby vomit color on the Envista and Encore GX. There is something seriously wrong with the Buick color deciders
Has something changed? Last I checked Buick builds one vehicle in this entire hemisphere, and sells less vehicles here than Jeep sells Wranglers. Probably for lower transaction prices.
If this is doing great, I’d hate to see what doing poorly looks like.
I would have loved to see the browns back the 2025 Enclave will be my 3rd in a row. Love the new look!!!
Boring, boring, boring and the purple is awful. Are the Japanese the only designers that can come up with great colors.
