Just last month, General Motors officially unveiled the next-gen 2025 Buick Enclave, which will bring about a restyled exterior, overhauled interior, and reworked powertrain to the Tri-Shield’s biggest crossover. GM Authority captured photos of a 2025 Enclave unit back in February 2024 before its big reveal and now, we’re taking a closer look at another 2025 Enclave in the wild in this GM Authority live photo gallery.
This production-spec third-gen Buick Enclave is painted in the Moonstone Gray Metallic (color code GXD) paint color, and outfitted in the entry-level Preferred trim level.
Starting with the exterior, the influence of the Wildcat EV Concept is apparent, as this all-new Enclave shares many design elements with the concept. In regard to specifics, we can spot the body-colored door handles, a chromed-out grille, brushed aluminum roof rails, and the “base” headlight and taillamp setups.
As for rollers, this example rides on the 20-inch alloy wheels with Medium Android Finish (RPO code SLW) option, which are wrapped in 255 / 55R20 tires.
As a reminder, the 2025 Enclave adopts the Buick Y-trim level strategy, which starts with the Preferred trim as the base before branching out into Sport Touring (ST) and Avenir.
When compared to the Preferred, the Enclave ST boasts a High Gloss Black grille, High Gloss Black upper door moldings, Gloss Black rocker moldings, High Gloss Black-painted wheel moldings, Gloss Black roof rails and 20-inch alloy wheels with High Gloss Black and Machine Finish (RPO code SME).
Meanwhile, the range-topping 2025 Enclave Avenir features color-matched door handles with a chrome strip, animated headlamps and taillights with walk-up and departure lighting, and 22-inch alloy wheels with Avenir Pearl Nickel Finish (RPO code RUZ) wrapped in P275 / 45R22 tires.
An all-new cabin will be headlined by a 30-inch ultra-wide infotainment screen, which will be standard equipment across all trims. Available tech and safety goodies include wireless device charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Departure Warning, and more.
It’s also worth noting that the 2025 Enclave will also be the first Tri-Shield product to offer GM Super Cruise.
Under the hood, the 2025 Buick Enclave will be powered by the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine, rated at 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, while the GM eight-speed automatic transmission will direct output to the front wheels as standard affair. AWD will be optional.
Under the skin lies the long-wheelbase variant of the GM C1 platform, while production will kick off at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan on June 17th, 2024.

Ugly outside. Ugly inside.
Where in the world did Buick go? GM needs to shut Buick down and let it die before every ounce of it’s great history is lost in this obvious Toyota clone look.
If you think it’s a Toyota clone, what’s wrong with trying to get some of their sales? Remember GM is going fur a new generation of Buick buyers.
Do you really think Buick is calling their shots?? Like the other few remaining brands under the GM umbrella, they get told what they can and can’t do by GM corporate. I’m in agreement that this is one ugly Buick but the blame should be on GM for that.
I agree. The first two enclaves were elegant with a swoop side that Buick always had. This just looks like every other big SUV on the market. What Happened Buick ?
The base trim is meh. The ST and Avenir are better.
IMO, the new Buick Enclave in ST/Avenir looks the best out of the redesigned Traverse/Acadia/Enclave triplets. The interior is amazing; would betray Ford to buy one. Hoping GM brings over the Envision Plus to slot between the Envision and the Enclave.
“Preferred” is the new LeSabre. “ST” is the new T-Type. “Avenir” is the new Park Avenue. Buick, I see what you did there.
What good are all the pictures of the 25 Enclave if you can’t see them? Links don’t work.
The grey isn’t dark enough and the front grill is boring to look at. It does nothing for me.
It looks better than the thing shown in white, but still?
I like the front and the back, but from the side, it looks like it’s been t-boned. “Uh sir, did you know someone ran into the side of your car?”
Just another silver vehicle
That engine is going to be a failure. I drove the new GMC Acadia that has the same engine and was beyond disappointed. Sluggish, lagging, loud and annoyingly noisy, the output numbers are nowhere to real life performance…
Yeah the 4 banger will be the death of this Enclave!! Hey GM buyers for 55k vehicles want options!
Buick looks horrible because of the black plastic wheel opening trim, which increases the out-of-proportion look of the opening size on light-colored vehicles. They did the same on the new Equinox. These are family vehicles; they are not supposed to look like off-roaders. The front end is a grumpy face.
Awful design. There is no Buick heritage. The car has absolutely no personality at all. A shame to see another historic nameplate being destroyed. I know they sell a lot of Buicks, in China, but with designs like this, they might as well close the doors on US dealerships.
Is GM testing another Buick 3-Row vehicle? I saw a Manufacturer Plate Buick that looked very similar to the new Enclave, but it was definitely smaller than the current Enclave. Maybe it was the body lines, I don’t know, but it sure looked smaller in width.
I drove the GMC Acadia, just the noise of the engine starting up turn me off. Not bad power, but the noise made me pass on these GM cars
