As the second model year of Cadillac‘s all-electric luxury crossover, the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq introduced many updates and changes over the preceding 2023 Lyriq. That being said, the Caddy EV is now available with a new 22-inch wheel option.
The 2024 Lyriq is now offered with the LPO, or dealer-installed, 22-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels (RPO code SET). They feature nine twin split spokes, white flange striping and black center caps with a monochrome Cadillac logo. These new rollers are optional across the all-electric crossover’s entire trim lineup, and go for an extra $5,980.
In other Lyriq-specific developments, Caddy’s electric crossover recently had two roof-related goodies become available. More specifically, the black-painted roof (RPO code 41T) option and a roof rack accessory are now both on offer after the former was made unavailable back in October 2023 and the latter had been teased since July 2022.
As for pricing, the black-painted roof costs an additional $600, while the roof rack is priced at $531.25.
Finally, it’s worth noting that the highly-anticipated Lyriq-V has yet to debut officially, as details surrounding the high-performance luxury crossover have been minimal at best.
As a reminder, the Cadillac Lyriq is offered in one of two flavors, including a RWD variant that features a single motor mounted on the rear axle that’s rated at 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, as well as an AWD version that boasts a pair of electric motors – one on each axle – producing a combined 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Both models utilize GM Ultium battery and GM Ultium Drive motor technologies.
In regard to range figures, the current 2024 Lyriq RWD variant is capable of mustering 314 miles on a full charge, while the AWD version is rated at 307 miles from a full charge.
Under the body panels, the first-generation Lyriq rides on the GM BEV3 platform, while production takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

$6,000 for alloy wheels? Yikes.
6K to add ugly black wheels. GM must be laughing all the way to the bank on this blatant rip off.
Ugh. Black wheels on your new Cadillac.
For 6K I hope they are fully forged. For 22″ rollers, I could see fully forged being nearly required to avoid wheel damage over bumps, and ifff fully forged, not a bad price. I don’t get the 22 craze. 20 is still a pretty small rubber height. I’d trade down to 20’s if I were looking for a Lyriq.
Nice looking but too expensive, too much to clean, to costly to replace and most of all expensive sized tires! No thanks. Now if money is no object and you pay people to do your work..fine…enjoy!
