Updated 2025 Chevy TrailBlazer SUV Revealed In Brazil

Following the recent debut of the fully updated 2025 Chevy S10 in Brazil, General Motors has just revealed the refreshed 2025 Chevy TrailBlazer SUV in the South American country.

The automaker revealed the first official images of the refreshed 2025 Chevy TrailBlazer, showing comprehensive updates to the up to seven-seat SUV derived from Chevrolet‘s Brazil-made midsize pickup. The 2025 TrailBlazer SUV debuts with notable changes that encompass improvements in design, technology, mechanics, and comfort equipment that make it one of the most complete models in its class.

“The new 2025 Chevrolet TrailBlazer has everything you want in an SUV: strength, sophistication, efficiency, and connectivity,” said the marketing department of GM Brazil. “With a redesigned design and equipped with the most advanced technology and safety, this new High Country version is brutally ready for anything,” the company added.

Like the 2025 S10, the biggest aesthetic change to the refreshed 2025 Chevy TrailBlazer SUV is that it adopts a more robust and sophisticated front design inspired by the new North American Chevy Colorado – but with unique features that set it apart. While all the front panels are new, the 2025 TrailBlazer still uses the same platform, body structure, and even the same rear design that the model has had since its debut in 2012.

In addition to the fully updated interior with the brand’s latest technological solutions and the new generation of the powertrain shared with the pickup, another novelty of the refreshed 2025 Chevy TrailBlazer SUV is the adoption of the High Country trim level as a new top-of-the-line version – replacing the Premier finish. The 2025 TrailBlazer High Country will come standard with segment-leading advanced safety and connectivity technologies.

The refreshed 2025 Chevy TrailBlazer will be officially launched and arrive at the Chevrolet Brazil dealer network in May as the third of the brand’s six new launches for this year in the country. The midsize SUV will continue to be manufactured along with the S10 at the GM São José dos Campos plant, in charge of exclusively supplying the Brazilian market and other countries in South America.

  1. This is the size the U.S. market should get instead of the terrible Captiva style we got here the past few years. I had 4 Trailblazers…3 with the inline 6 cylinder and the last an SS. Loved all of them especially the SS. Could haul 5 people and tow a boat amd still go faster than a “then” GT mustang.

  2. It is a completely different size class. This wouldn’t do well in the lineup, too much overlap. It is a little longer than the current Blazer and I bet less room as well, it is quite a bit smaller than the Traverse. It will ride worse, handle worse, with worse mpg unless they bring the diesel over which they won’t. I just don’t see a market here otherwise to appease a few wanna be macho guys that want a BOF vehicle they don’t use. It doesn’t have the kool-aid following buyers like Toyota. I dig this, but it isn’t for us.

    1. Ever heard of the the Toyota 4Runner? The market exists. Imagine a ZR2 version of this suv.

    2. This is a REAL Blazer with some chops and ruggedness-not a pseudo Blazer like the on GM is shoving down our throats. Come up with this in the US and add a GMC version and they’ll sell over 100k units easily.

      1. The problem is what customer wants is NOT the profits that would be expected.

  3. There is so much overlap already in the GM’s portfolio one more won’t hurt. Yes it might eat into the Tahoe and Suburban sales but they already own half the market share anyhow.
You got two subcompact CUV’s Trax and Trailblazer
Two suvs that are almost identical interior size although one is considered a compact and the other a midsize. The Equinox and Blazer.

There is still room for a proper midsize SUV like this.

  4. This wont be coming to the US, but is a good competitor for Ford’s Everest global SUV based on the new Ranger.

  5. The traverse was the vehicle they replaced the original TB. Bringing this over wouldn’t help. Maybe delete the blazer and this can replace it.

    1. @ Ric

This would work if GM would sell it as an off-road Bronco fighter, and an SS version for the people who don’t like lifted trucks and want a FAST/SPORTY SUV that can haul 5 people, and tow a boat, or UTV trailer!’

I love my 06 Trailblazer SS. It was a sports car that could haul and tow! It was pretty darn fast back in 2006 too. Especially when you tuned them.

      1. This isn’t a “Bronco fighter”, it is a 4runner competitor and a 4runner tows the same as a Traverse and you can buy a Blazer RS for the sporty version. This vehicle isn’t designed for a V8, so the old SS can be scratched. Not sure what the appeal is when it does everything it competes against worse except go off road (which many unibody vehicles can do well in spades anyways). There was a reason a buddies wife got rid of her 4runner after barely a year for something that was better on road with more room in the same size package. Her die hard Toyota husband pushed it on her and daily driving which 95% of these type of vehicles are actually used for are much worse than a unibody competitor. Repeat after me, it will not sell well here…

        1. It would help if the pillars and windows didn’t look like @ss. And then, it would pair well with a regular cab pickup.

        2. I agree with you 100%. Not to mention the comfort of 4runners I have heard are terrible (the 5th gen models- not the new 6th gen). Would somebody with back pain or conditions be able to drive them?

  6. Looks pretty good. It is actually a competitor to Toyota’s Fortuner and the LC Prado as well. Unlike the 4runner however, this is still an old school body on frame SUV as it does not have a new platform.

    1. Buddy, 4Runner’s new platform is also body on frame TNGA-F. And unlike the Traiblazer, TNGA-F all have solid rear axle.

      1. This Trailblazer has SRAs I believe. I believe you are referring to the Trailblazer that is a CUV, not this one. The 4runner has a brand new platform, and yes while it is BOF, the platform of the trailblazer is still the same, even for the 2025 MY.
