There May Be About Ten New Chevy Camaro ZL1 Units Left In The United States

With the Chevy Camaro now discontinued, available stocks of the muscle car at dealerships are rapidly dwindling, with approximately 10 new Chevy Camaro ZL1 units apparently still available according to both Bow Tie info and a vehicle search by GM Authority.

Per a vehicle inventory search on the Chevrolet website three 2023 Chevy Camaro ZL1 and six 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 units are still available new at dealerships, while GM Authority found a tenth new ZL1 not listed in Chevy’s inventory search.

The vehicle we located is at Miami Lakes Automall in Florida, and is a new 2023 Camaro ZL1 Coupe with an MSRP of $77,950. The coupe appears to be finished with the Radiant Red Tintcoat (paint code GNT) exterior paint color and has a Jet Black with Red Accents interior colorway. It is, of course, equipped with a V8 engine.

Out of the 10 new 2023 and 2024 model-year Chevy Camaro ZL1 vehicles in stock at dealerships at the time of this writing, eight are Coupes and two are Convertibles. As for special editions, three are 2024 Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition units and one is a 2024 ZL1 Garage 56 Edition, with all four featuring the Coupe body style.

Turning to the overall stock of remaining new Chevy Camaro units, at the time of this writing, 1,584 new 2024 model year cars remain in inventory. This includes the following numbers by trim level that are equipped with V8 engines, making up 12.9 percent of the remaining new Camaros:

  • 25 Camaro 1SS
  • 104 Camaro 2SS
  • 6 Camaro ZL1
  • 69 Camaro LT1

While 204 of the remaining 2024 Camaros are powered by V8 engines, the rest are 1LT, 2LT and 3LT trim vehicles equipped with the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine.

As for the 2023 model-year Camaros in inventory, there are 153 new muscle cars left, with the following 47 units in total equipped with V8 engines, or 30.7 percent of all remaining new Camaros for the year:

  • 22 Camaro 1SS
  • 13 Camaro 2SS
  • 3 Camaro ZL1
  • 9 Camaro LT1

The rest are 1LS, 1LT, 2LT and 3LT trims equipped with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LTG engine or the 3.6L V6 LGX.

GM Authority previously learned that The General produced 1,335 Collector’s Edition vehicles in all, across all trim levels. The three ZL1 Collector’s Edition Coupes are the remainder of 274 units originally built, while the entire batch of 76 Convertibles is seemingly sold out.

Pricing for the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Coupe started at $73,695, while the final Camaro Coupe rolled off the assembly line on December 14th, 2023 at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

  2. I traded in my 2010 Metallic Blue Camaro and purchased a 2024 2SS Riverside Blue Metallic coupe back in December of last year.

It was the best decision except for buying my 2023 Red Mist Metallic convertible Corvette, 70th edition.

Both cars are such a rush to drive each day.
