General Motors just announced that its premium import and lifestyle platform The Durant Guild will make its debut at the Beijing Motor Show later this month.
The automaker stated that The Durant Guild’S presence at the upcoming 2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China) or Beijing Motor Show will be its first at the most important automotive exhibition in the Asian country. GM’s new business arm for the Chinese market continues to explore new growth opportunities and will introduce a select iconic line of products.
The Durant Guild is about to begin selling imported GM vehicles in China and this is the second time it will be present at an event alongside the largest automobile manufacturers in the Asian country, after its participation in 2023 Auto Guangzhou in November. Since its inception at the end of 2022, it had only participated in the noticeably smaller China International Import Expo.
As GM Authority recently reported, the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe will be the main novelty presented by The Durant Guild at the Beijing Motor Show, where the refreshed version of Chevrolet’s full-size SUV will celebrate its national premiere, while the automaker will starts accepting reservations in China. In fact, the 2025 Tahoe was confirmed as the first product imported by GM’s premium import platform to the Asian country.
In addition to the local introduction of the 2025 Chevy Tahoe, The Durant Guild will unveil three other “distinctive iconic” vehicles from GM’s global portfolio at the 2024 Beijing Motor Show. The collection includes the Chevy Corvette Stingray, the GMC Hummer EV SUV and the all-new ultra-luxury Cadillac Celestiq. The vehicles will be introduced as upcoming lifestyle halo models that the company plans to introduce to the Chinese market.
The Durant Guild booth at the 2024 Beijing Motor Show will be located in Hall W4 of the Beijing International Exhibition Center, where China’s premier automotive exhibition will be held from April 25th to May 4th. With its presence at China’s largest and most important automotive event, The Durant Guild aims to delve deeper into the country’s increasingly diversified automotive lifestyles and consumer trends.
