Refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade Sport Spotted Completely Undisguised: Photos

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade is poised to launch a mid-cycle refresh complete with a long list of updates and changes, both inside and out, as well as under the hood. Now, GM Authority is giving you an early look at the refreshed SUV thanks to the following spy photos.

This particular 2025 Cadillac Escalade is an example of the Sport trim level, and was caught completely undisguised in a classy shade of paint dubbed Black Raven (paint GBA).

As GM Authority has covered on several occasions in the past, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade refresh will include revised exterior styling, and the Sport trim level is no exception. Up front, we see a new fascia design that appears to take cues from the all-electric 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, with a new headlight layout that incorporates thin, upper horizontal lighting signatures and prominent vertical lighting elements. The front end also shows off a new dual-level grille design combining a large trapezoidal upper intake with a slimmer lower counterpart. The upper part flaunts a polished black mesh design typical of the Sport trim level, lending the SUV a slightly more aggressive aesthetic, while the lower grille includes horizontal slats.

One of the standout features in the refreshed model are the new 24-inch alloy wheels. The rollers on this particular example appear to be the same design seen on a prototype model previously, showing off a split-spoke layout and silver finish.

The rear end of the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade maintains a familiar design with signature vertical taillights, albeit with updated inner graphics. The rest of the tail looks to be more or less the same as the current Escalade, from the bumper to the tailgate, although some of the trim looks new as well.

Inside, the 2025 Escalade is expected to include a full-width, pillar-to-pillar infotainment display similar to that of the Escalade IQ and Cadillac Celestiq. Under the hood, this particular Escalade cradles the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, as indicated by the 600 badge on the tailgate, aligning with Caddy’s latest torque-based badging conventions. The 2025 Escalade will also offer the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax diesel engine, offered as a replacement for the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax offered previously. The 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V will cradle the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine.

All 2025 Cadillac Escalade variants will ride on the GM T1 platform, with production taking place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
