KC Chiefs Rashee Rice Was Driving Lamborghini Involved In Dallas Corvette Crash

Rashee Rice, wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, has been confirmed as the driver of a Lamborghini Urus performance SUV that caused a six-car crash in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, March 30th as it raced a Chevy Corvette.

Rashee Rice, who initially fled the scene of the accident that left two people hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, has issued an apology for the incident and is now cooperating with police.

The Lamborghini Urus was being leased by Rice from The Classic Lifestyle, an “exotic car rental” service in Dallas with a fleet including Lamborghinis, Ferraris, BMWs, and vehicles from Mercedes-Benz, Rolls Royce, and Cadillac. The person behind the wheel of the Chevy Corvette racing against the Lamborghini has yet to be identified.

A dash-cam video of the incident shows the two vehicles blasting by other traffic in the far-left lane. The Urus driven by Rice plows into the median Jersey barriers and loses control, sending the Vette skidding into traffic and ultimately involving four other cars. The occupants of both vehicles chose to flee the scene rather than provide their information or wait for police to arrive.

Sen. Royce West, who is acting as the lawyer for Rashee Rice, said the reason why the Chiefs player fled the scene is “a good question that’s still being investigated,” while describing him as “a young man that made a mistake.” Rice says he takes “full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities.” He also says he will provide any assistance he can to the other people involved in the accident.

The driver of the Corvette belonging to Rice has not yet been identified, nor have the passengers who were seen leaving the scene. Investigators are continuing to interview witnesses and those whose vehicles were struck during the incident.

Rice’s lawyer told reporters that he expects charges to be filed against Rice in the hit-and-run crash.

  1. People just don’t give two S***s and a F**k anymore…race someone on a freeway, hit innocent people, and immediately flee the scene, regardless if they work with authorities later, or not. I have no words as the same thing happened to me in Houston this past Monday….hit and run…

  2. Can’t approve of racing on public streets at all, but should wait until the wee hours and use a road with no traffic if you have to do it. Since Covid, things have gotten completely nuts on the roads with speed, running red lights, passing on double yellows, etc. With the defund the police attitude, traffic enforcement has come to showing up after the multi car incident and writing out the tickets. Perhaps at least there should be jail time and convication of the vehicles.

  3. Not very smart at all! Some of these sports figures, get all this money, and get just palin stupid!!!! Both the ‘Vette and the Lambo, were his. What does that tell you about being stupid with your Love of cars. Obtaining them, is one thing. Racin’ on the street is another. Shows some of these guys have no appreciation for these vehicles. Simply a status symbol. Nothing more. The public is lucky no one was killed. Throw the book at these guys. Stop treating them like they are someone special. They just got lucky God gave them a skill. Now see if they use it for something good!!!!

  5. Harli had it partly right: Rashee should have had better elder raising, shouldn’t have fallen for peer pressure. I’ve delt w/peer pressure; at least i had the “proper prior upbringing” towards adult action’s!

  6. If it happened in KC it would have been sweep under the rug already. Since it’s in Texas hopefully they’ll nail him to the wall.

  7. So he’s apologized & is cooperating after the fact. Tells a lot about his character doesn’t it. If he had any maturity he would have stuck around after his stupid stunt & made things simpler for everyone. But then again he’s a member of the National Felon League.

  8. If he had any maturity at all, he wouldn’t be street racing in traffic heavy enough to have a six vehicle accident!! He has enough money to rent a race track for track days, etc. Hopefully this lesson will be learned by other potential idiots. Thank goodness nobody was killed.
