The 2024 GMC Acadia launches the all-new third generation of the crossover with a long list of new and updated features. These include larger exterior dimensions, a more spacious interior, and an uninterrupted daylight opening design for the vehicle’s greenhouse, among others.
In this article, GM Authority is taking a close look at the eight available exterior paint colors offered on the 2024 GMC Acadia, five of which are available across all three trim levels, including the Elevation, AT4, and Denali trims.
One of the model year’s exterior colors, Summit White (color code GAZ), is offered as a no-charge option. The rest of the paint colors for the 2024 GMC Acadia cost extra, with most priced at $495, one at $645, and one at $1,095.

As previously revealed by GM Authority, pricing for the 2024 GMC Acadia starts at the low end with a base MSRP of $43,995 for the entry-level Elevation. At the high end, the range-topping Denali carries a starting price of $55,695. These prices include a destination freight charge of $1,395. The official configurator tool for the crossover model recently went live on the GMC website.
While the exterior gets bigger dimensions and new styling, the cockpit boasts a vertical portrait 15-inch diagonal infotainment screen and 11-inch diagonal driver information center. Rear Park Assist, Following Distance Indicator, and Forward Collision Alert are among the Acadia’s standard safety features, while the semi-autonomous Super Cruise driver assist system is optional.
As GM Authority reported first, all trim levels of the 2024 Acadia are motivated by the same powerplant, the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine. This engine develops 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque and is paired with the GM eight-speed automatic transmission for cog swaps. FWD is standard on the Elevation and Denali, while AWD is optional on those two trims and standard on the off-road focused AT4.
Under the skin, the 2024 GMC Acadia rides on the GM C1 platform. Production of the crossover now takes place at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan.

Can’t wait to see one in person
Having seen them all, this is the worst looking of the 3. It’s very plain on the outside. Looks like a stretched Terrain, which is a tired exterior design. The interior was pretty nice, but the horizontal infotainment screen makes more sense. It’s like they gave the Acadia the worst of everything.
I find it interesting that they are charging an extra fee for every paint color, but the summit white, which should shoved into there corporate backside anyway. This is a commercial paint color you put on a vehicle that you don’t care much about, not one you want on your personal vehicle.
All well and good but when will they be on the show room floor?
