About GMC Yukon
While the 2024 GMC Yukon was initially expected to introduce a mid-cycle enhancement, GM Authority has learned that the refresh will arrive for the 2025 model year.
Even so, the 2024 Yukon drops the Redwood Metallic paint color and adds three new paint colors to the lineup, while the 2024 Yukon Denali Ultimate will offer two new wheel options as part of a small number of changes, updates, and new features. Check out what’s new and different for the 2024 Yukon and Yukon XL.
Pricing on the 2024 Yukon has increased on the SLE, SLT, and AT4 trim levels by $900 because the three years of OnStar and Connected Services Plan is no longer included as standard, replaced with three years of OnStar Remote Access. Meanwhile, the OnStar and Connected Services Plan, renamed the OnStar Premium Plan, is standard on both the Denali and Denali Ultimate trim levels. The MSRP of the two range-topping trims each increase by $2,100 for the 2024 model year. The price bump for all of the 2024 Yukon trim levels also includes a destination freight charge increase of $100 to $1,995.
This past November, the GMC Yukon won the Strategic Vision 2023 Total Quality Impact award in the full-size utility category.
The 2025 GMC Yukon, arriving later this year, boasts a long list of upgrades and changes like new front and rear fascias, 5G network connectivity, and a vast screen that mirrors the same infotainment layout as the upcoming first-ever 2024 GMC Sierra EV and all-new 2024 GMC Acadia.
Recently, GM revealed a glimpse of the refreshed 2025 GMC Yukon, hinting at its impending debut, though GM Authority has secured spy images of the premium full-size SUV in full before you’re supposed to see it.
Here’s what we know and expect for the 2025 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL.

Looking to maybe order in the Fall . Like all info . Thanks
Bought a 2022 SLT 3.0 Duramax. Best car I ever had. No issues so far, except about 5 factory recalls and putting in there the left out chips from the COVID supply chain issues days. Besides regular days, I’m towing a 3500 lbs camper with it, it does a very good job, diesel consumption is pretty good (while towing) under 60 mph. it is a really comfortable ride. Android Car integration is nice too, the onboard computer is faster than in our other brand car. These things are really tall, underground parkings can be problematic.
The SLT model in my opinion is a good balance between ‘basic’ Tahoe / Suburbans and the Denali / Cadillacs. While diesel is more expensive nowadays than before COVID, it is still IMO a good choice, the engine has a lot of torque and runs very smoothly. As I’m in Canada, I can tell that while this is a diesel, -25C (and even more) is no issue.
Good experience on my side, price is much higher now then when I got it in 2022, but everything went up, perhaps there will be incentives by the time you would shop for one.
I don’t know how anyone can afford these overpriced vehicles no incentives to buy one how can you keep building 80,000 dollar suv the only people I know buying them are farmers who load them down with everything to reach 90,000 and them take it off on their farm poor farmer.
