About GMC Hummer EV Pickup
Production of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup began this past June, with the nameplate introducing a handful of significant changes and updates over the preceding 2023 model. That includes the launch of two entry-level trim levels, the 2X and 2, though GM Authority has learned that the “base” 2 trim has been dropped. Range-topping Edition 1 and 3X trims round out the all-electric Hummer off-road pickup truck lineup for the 2024 model year.
Another critical update for the 2024 Hummer EV Pickup is the introduction of the new Omega Edition, which won’t return for the 2025 model year. This limited-run variant includes a unique matte paint finish, unique wheels, and a few other unique accents.
Additionally, for 2024, the Pickup offers a new LPO-level or dealer-installed optional Lifestyle Adventure Package that provides camping capabilities for off-roaders and other outdoor enthusiasts. A step up from that is the new EarthCruiser, a variant of the Pickup designed to tackle overlanding adventures in zero-emission style.

About GMC Hummer EV SUV
The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV launched with the Edition 1. “About 2,500” units of the Edition 1 model will be built, featuring standard 22-inch premium wheels, assist steps, and floor liners, as well as all-wheel-steering. Motivation is sourced from a three-motor drivetrain and 20-module battery pack, providing a maximum of 830 horsepower and more than 300 miles between charges. It comes with an exclusive Moonshot Green Matte paint highlighted by complementary black and silver trim bits to provide a splash of custom flair to the special edition of the SUV’s inaugural year.
The Edition 1 joins the 3X trim to round out the all-electric Hummer off-road SUV for the 2024 model year.
The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV also gets the new Omega Edition, like the Pickup. Additionally, the SUV receives a new Bronze Beadlock Package, which includes a few bits and pieces to enhance the off-roader’s capabilities, as well as complementary styling bits to go with the theme, plus a new Cargo Utility Package as an LPO add-on. An Extreme Off-Road Package will be available for the Hummer SUV 2X and 3X trim levels, in addition to the range-topping GMC Hummer EV SUV Edition 1.
Finally, the 2024 Hummer EV SUV gets a power-operated swing gate, setting it apart from the Pickup, which incorporates the manually-operated MultiPro tailgate with six functional load/access features and EZ Lift operation.
Both Hummer EV models ride on the GM BT1 platform, powered by Ultium Batteries and Ultium Drive motors.

Comments
Local Chevy/GMC dealership has over a dozen Hummer EVs sitting on their lot with ADM for over a month now. Nice try, lol.
TangledThorns,
What do you mean by “ADM”?
Montana Bob
ADM means After Dealer Mark-Up.
Nobody wants ’em, Mary! They’re a PoS, impractical as heck, heavy as a tank and Godawful expensive!
Montana Bob
Bob, did you drive one? I know a few people here in Michigan who own and love theirs, also I’ve been on the road and occasionally see them, both the SUV and the pickup versions. I saw them a lot around town when they test drove them the past few years. They are quite a sight to see. Looks fabulous. The people I know can afford one and
not everyone can but they are priced like an Escalade. They bought because it’s a fun toy not because they think it will save the environment. It has to be manufactured, the ingredients in the batteries are diabolicly unfriendly for the enviroment especially after being discarded. Where are they going to throw al all of these batteries away. It’s highly toxic. Pricing I feel is too high for a rushed rollout vehicle. Time will tell how it takes our cold, wet, northern weather. Especially when you mix in the salt on the roads in winter. The extra energy created and needed to produce enough charge for all these will leave a carbon footprint just as high as filling our tanks with clean burning unleaded fuel. I personally can’t imagine taking these pretty vehicles off roading. So they have good and iffy points with the emphasis on the fact it has a lot bigger carbon footprint than they are willing to say. The limited use of any electric vehicle will definitely put a leash on our lives especially with higher possibility of power outages for grid overload or because of bad weather issues. I feel an all electric world of vehicles would hinder life in general. Managing and depending and obsessing on how much charge we have would affect work productivity for everyone across the board. E.V.’s should always be a choice not a norm.
Hi I’m shocked by everyone’s comment about EV H1. I have one and my SUV is the best. I owned German car’s since 1987 nothing else Porches and BMW but when I tried EV Hummer I loved it and don’t want any other Brand unless it’s Ev Rolls.
