No other incentives are offered this month on the next-generation midsize pickup truck.

A nationwide lease remains available on the all-new, next-generation 2023 and 2024 Chevy Colorado. Shown here is the ultimate all-terrain-focused ZR2 Bison.

About Chevrolet Colorado

Last May, GM unveiled the all-new 2024 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison, the highly capable off-road midsize pickup truck developed in partnership with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV). For 2024, the ZR2 Bison is offered as a standalone trim level rather than as a package. In addition to a wealth of standard components from AEV, the 2024 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison also incorporates development input from off-road racing champion Chad Hall, and was refined on the Rubicon Trail to boot, adding new features like front and rear jounce control dampers.

The 2024 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison, incidentally, gets a standard bed-mounted spare, a new launch control feature, and a new Recovery Package. Its arrival means the Chevy Colorado ZR2 Desert Boss Special Edition package will not return for the 2024 model year, indirectly replaced by the Bison.

Furthermore, among the many changes and updates for new model year, the 2024 Chevy Colorado drops the 8-inch driver information center, replaced by the 11-inch DIC across the lineup, and drops the mid-level Turbo Plus engine, adopting the GM’s new TurboMax engine branding as part of changes and updates for the 2024 model year. That means the 2024 Colorado will offer just the base L2R engine on WT and LT trim levels, and the High Output L3B TurboMax engine on all other trims while optional on the WT and LT. On a related note, here are the towing capacities of the 2024 Colorado.

The 2024 Colorado also offers a new Sports Bar Package and new Off-Road Lighting Package.

For 2024, five trim levels are offered, including Work Truck (WT), LT, Trail Boss, Z71 and ZR2, along with the ZR2 Bison package. Starting prices for the 2024 Chevy Colorado WT, LT, Trail Boss, and Z71 models are all up by $400, while pricing for the ZR2 is up only $100, and the ZR2 Bison has a starting MSRP of $60,095. Additionally, the destination freight charge is up $100 across the board to $1,595 and is included in these listed price increases.

The fastest-turning trim level for the third-generation Colorado is the range-topping ZR2, while, overall, the Chevy Colorado was among the fastest turning new vehicles in March 2024, placing sixth on the list and slotting beneath the GMC Canyon.

The 2024 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison is currently under constraint as of mid-April, with little to no units being built during the month.

Edmunds picked the 2024 Chevy Colorado for its “Top-Rated 2024” Truck category, saying it is “one of the best pickup trucks currently on sale.”

The online configurator tool is live for the 2024 Colorado and still live for the 2023 Colorado.

Production of the 2025 Chevy Colorado at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri begins on October 28th.
