In April 2024, any Chevy Camaro discount or incentive is unavailable on the Bow Tie brand’s discontinued muscle car.
Chevrolet Camaro Incentives
There are no Chevy Camaro discount offers in April, and there are no special financing or lease incentives, either. The online configurator tool for the 2024 Chevy Camaro is no longer live, and buyers are instead given the option to search the available inventory of the discontinued model.

About Chevrolet Camaro
The 2024 Chevy Camaro arrived as the sixth generation’s ninth and final model year, featuring a pair of special-edition variants. These include the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition, as well as the 2024 Chevy Camaro Collector Edition, both of which offer their own unique content and varying levels of exclusivity to pay homage to the first-gen Camaro’s internal program code of “Panther.” The Collector Edition was offered on all trim levels, but only the ZL1 could be ordered with Panther Black Matte paint, the first matte paint option ever offered on the Camaro.
Additionally, the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Collector Edition includes a Shinola Canfield Sport 45mm watch, which is now being shipped to owners.
A boatload of other changes and updates for the 2024 Camaro included dropping two paint colors, the Shock and Steel Edition package, the lowered suspension package and the sway bar package, the 20-inch Caliente wheels, the base 1LS trim level, and the turbo 2.0L LTGÂ engine. Additionally, the 2024 Camaro SS 1LE Suspension Handling Package became unavailable, while the full SS 1LE Track Performance Package remained available to order.
Pricing for the 2024 Camaro rose from $2,600 to $5,000, depending on trim level. The destination freight charge increased by $200 to $1,595. Check out all of the 2024 Camaro pricing with options and packages.
Final units of the Camaro Convertible were produced this past November 22nd, and the last Camaro Coupe was built on December 14th, bringing production of the muscle car’s sixth generation to an end without an ICE successor in the works. 2024 marks the end of the Bow Tie brand’s muscle car – at least for now.
GM built a total of 1,335 units of the 2024 Chevy Camaro Collector Edition.
“Camaro is a passion product,” a Chevy spokesperson said of the end of the Camaro, noting that “it has developed a fan base across the world and has brought people into Chevrolet dealerships for generations.” In summary, “the sixth generation specifically represented athleticism and composure – exuding confidence on the road and dominance on the track.”
Fans of the performance nameplate are finding that every Chevy Camaro Collector Edition has this cool Easter egg.
Recently, Hendrick Motorsports debuted a 40th Anniversary Edition of the Chevy Camaro, which will be sold exclusively through select Hendrick Automotive Group Chevrolet dealerships to add yet another special variant as the iconic muscle car sunsets.
Looking forward, GM has confirmed a next-generation Chevy Camaro to keep the nameplate alive, but we don’t know when we’ll see it. Global Chevrolet Vice President Scott Bell stated, “While we are not announcing an immediate successor today, rest assured, this is not the end of Camaro’s story.”
The Camaro name may not be applied to a single model but to a broader EV sub-brand. Some of the models would likely resemble the familiar Camaro with coupe and convertible variants, while others might be sporty two-door and four-door crossover SUVs, with a mid-priced sports car as the brand flagship.

GM should be very careful – watering down the Camaro as we know it has the risk of completely turning off what customer base has clung to the car, despite the apparent lack of support the company has shown for it.
I’d rather GM bring it back as a ICE car badged as a Buick (the only brand GM deems worthy of marketing and advertising or otherwise investing in) than some sort of badge engineered Blazer SS EV derivative. The fact that the Blazer has so many Camaro styling clues tells you all you need to know as far as how the Camaro will live on/return.
GM has really lost it by stopping production of the Camaro! Very sad!
In the Washington, DC area, there really aren’t any new V8 Camaros left. Mainly a few scattered convertibles that seem to be sitting longer.
People really snapped up the last year of Camaros, obviously a smaller run of cars manufactured didn’t help.
Ford has it right- keep the traditional coupe and expand the brand further if they must with separate vehicles. If they just did the Mach E, they would have killed Mustang. (Reminds me of when they were going to replace Mustang with the Probe before common sense took over)
Why would you expect GM to offer incentives for a discontinued model?? It’s illogical.
Since the current Camaro isn’t being replaced in the near future, why was Chevy so quick to pull the plug on the icon? After killing the Camaro in 2002, GM should have been more cautious to discontinue the legend. Lansing Grand River doesn’t have anything else replacing the Camaro volume. The Cadillac CT4 hasn’t been selling well at all and the CT5 isn’t doing a lot better. At least finish the current model year, restricting production drove up prices. What was the hurry? The profitability at that plant can’t be very good when low volume is this low. The all new Mustang will definitely benefit from canceling of the Camaro. Not every loyal enthusiast can afford a Corvette, it leaves GM customers without any choice. Performance has taken a back seat at GM, unless you want to spend about $100k. I’m just glad GM reevaluated the discontinuation of the Bolt EV, pricing is important in any segment. Bolt is the first affordable EV, it is much like the VW beetle bug. Hopefully GM can maintain their loyal customer base and using brand equity is the best way to market vehicles in this competitive market.
