Stellantis has unveiled the all-new 2025 Ram RHO, claiming to offer the most horsepower per dollar ($126.60 per pony) of any off-road truck on the market. The star of the show is the all-new twin-turbocharged 3.0L I6 Hurricane High Output engine, rated at 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque. Although it does not directly rival the Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2, the new Ram RHO does serve as an indirect rival for the off-roader light-duty Silverado.
Earlier this year, GM Authority revealed the first glimpse of the new Ram RHO, spied during testing and showing several features reminiscent of the now-phased-out Ram TRX. The RHO’s big headline is its new turbocharged six-cylinder engine, which replaces the supercharged V8 cradled by the Ram TRX.
Naturally, performance specs matter here. With 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque, Stellantis claims that the 2025 Ram RHO will sprint to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds, hitting 100 mph in 11.7 seconds and completing the quarter mile in 13.1 seconds at 105 mph. Top speed is set at 118 mph.
The vehicle maintains an aggressive posture with composite flared wheel arches, a unique hood, a unique grille, LED lighting, and a distinctive hood scoop. Under the flared arches, you’ll find a set of 35-inch tires mounted on 18-inch available bead lock wheels. Stellantis also states that the Ram 1500 RHO is eight inches wider than anything else in the light-duty pickup segment.
Underpinning the new Ram RHO is long-travel suspension with adaptive damping, inspired by desert off-road racers. The setup includes high-strength forged aluminum front upper and lower control arms, with specs like 11.8 inches of ground clearance and rear axle travel up to 14 inches to assist when the going gets rough. Also notable is the three-stage progressive hydraulic Jounce Control system, a Dana 60 rear axle, and full complement of skid plates.
Inside, passengers will enjoy more than 50 inches of combined digital screen real estate, including a 14.5-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch passenger screen, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.
The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO will hit dealers in Q3 of 2024, starting at $69,995. Order books are open now.

Very nice!
That camouflage is awesome. They really put the effort into that. Way better than how GM does it!
Plus, you can just tell that interior is much better than anything GM would put out.
Why can’t you do this GM?!
Oh yea, it doesn’t look like an Avalanche either.
Let me know if I missed the usual stuff.
Ram suspensions are the absolute worse in the market. Funny how they insisted those plastic control are tough and durable on all other Ram 1500 trims but they toss them out for this thing. Are these aluminum upper control arms the same ones that let the ball joints pop out while sitting on dealer lots? Mopar quality lmao
Pathetic downgrade. I am not sure if this engine will be reliable in the long run, unlike the Raptor R.
you must not follow the Raptor R. It’s been plagued with problems.
The oil leaks are a minor issue. But yes the QC is terrible however- but that still does not leave the point that the RHO engine is not as good as the V8, nor will it be as reliable as the HELLCAT V8.
Because it ain’t got an ls under the hood. Silverado ZR71 where you at?!???
Even their pathetic downgrade has 120 more HP than the Zr2.
I am still shocked the a Silverado has the same HP in top trim as a 10 year old truck, which was barely more than the prior gen 6.2. What have they done in the last decade? Fallen behind.
Ram removed the oil dipstick so you won’t notice all the oil these new Hurricane engines drink. The only reason you toss out the engine oil dipstick for a digital oil level indicator is to hide oil consumption.
Another vehicle getting its V8 neutered for a 6 cylinder. Gross.
I’ll stay with my 2023 Silverado 1500 ZR2 BISON. 6.2 V8 did I say V8 runs great.
I agree with you 100%.
Looking at the interior of the 2025 RAM 1500 Tungsten ….wow. With the luxury interior and the comfort of the 4 wheel coil spring air ride, I am sure my wife will be getting her second RAM for her horses instead of a GMC.
Coils springs DO NOT belong in a pickup.
My wife would disagree. She was a loyal GMC owner until her friends in the horse business started buying RAM pickups. She was impressed by the smooth coil spring ride and the luxury class interior. Her RAM 1500 has been an excellent truck. She will be getting the 2025 RAM again, attracted by the interior and the smooth fully adjustable coil/air ride.
Thanks for reading to us from the brochure, Rick.
