2025 Cadillac Optiq: Interior Live Photo Gallery

General Motors unveiled the 2025 Cadillac Optiq last November, showing off a brand-new, all-electric crossover that slots in as the luxury marque’s latest entry-level EV offering. For now, GM has been relatively tightlipped when it comes to details concerning the new Optiq, but nevertheless, GM Authority has provided a variety of exclusive insights thus far. Now, we’re back at it with the following GM Authority Live Photo Gallery, providing you with the very first real-world look at the Cadillac Optiq interior.

The interior of the 2025 Cadillac Optiq.

This particular Cadillac Optiq is a Chinese-spec model, but the overall look and layout of the interior should match that of the U.S.-spec model. The exact paint and interior color names are currently unavailable, but if they are shared with the Lyriq, the paint is likely called Opulent Blue Metallic (paint code GTR), while the interior is likely Sky Cool Gray (RPO code H7E).

Looking over the interior layout, we see a large curved display panel, just as GM Authority exclusively covered previously. This panel appears to house both the infotainment screen centrally on the dash, as well as the digital driver instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. The displays are incorporated in a single sweeping layout, similar to that of the 2025 Cadillac CT5 and 2024 Cadillac XT4.

Also notable is the blue trim seen underneath the display, which is marked with a series of vertical lines, recalling the horizontal styling lines seen along the exterior behind the C-pillars. The steering wheel incorporates glossy black trim outlined in silver, with a series of buttons and switches mounted at thumb-length at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock.

The center console also appears to have a carbon fiber trim plate, suggesting a sporty flair for the all-electric crossover. Also notable is the row of physical HVAC controls, which breaks from the screen-based HVAC controls equipped by the Cadillac Vistiq.

The new images also give us a look at the rear seats, which, like the front seats, are covered in crisp white upholstery.

As a reminder, the 2025 Cadillac Optiq rides on the GM BEV3 platform, with GM Ultium batteries and GM Ultium Drive motors on board for motivation.

  1. It’s basically the Lyriqs interior.

    1. You can tell they’re related, which they should look related, but the design is different, the materials and their locations are different, they aren’t the same. Look at them side-by-side and you can spot the numerous differences.

      2. Because they are different cars obviously otherwise it would’ve shared the lyriq name genius.

    2. Just like a Camry has the same interior as a Lexus?

  2. Good grief and good lort. PLEASE stop ending these things with “as a reminder” the car rides on so and so platform. I think I found something far more annoying than tiktok and an article saying “X formerly known as Twitter”. Sheezus Crice make it stop!

    2. Looks a bit too much like the new Blazer, i think it looks better than the Lyriq, which has a clumsy/ugly C-pillar.

      1. It’s based off the Equinox EV… so smaller than the Blazer.

  3. Does the Optyq compare in size to the XT4? Also what does it have to do with the Equinox EV?

  4. Looks like a Lincoln crossover from the side. No style. No excitement. No sale.

  5. Like most all other gm models, where’s the wood trim? Yes, I’m a boomer!

  6. I mostly like this design. I find the c-pillar unattractive along with the rear quarter panel. But I love the interior. I hate the way many manufacturers put a screen in the middle of the dash, looking like they threw in an ipad as an afterthought. The sweeping screen is very attractive. I’m glad they added hvac buttons and I like the controls on the steering wheel. I hope they offer hud and magnetic ride suspension. That and awd would make this a winner for me.

  7. Why does it have those flat, cheap looking seats? I once owned a 1984 Fleetwood and it had seats with pillow top cushions. Those seats were real soft and comfortable, and it felt like I was sitting on a living room sofa. Pillow top seats were really popular in American luxury cars from the mid 1970’s to the mid 1980’s. I saw them for the first time when I was riding in a 1976 Oldsmobile 98. It’s a shame that so many of today’s luxury cars have hard and flat seats.
