While the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is a force to be reckoned with on the road and the track, some might find it “a bit much” for getting to the pickleball court on a Wednesday afternoon. Luckily, GM has a solution with the new 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Brougham Edition. Recently making its big debut at the Sunnyside Shores Senior Sanctuary in Deerfield Beach, Florida, the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Brougham Edition is dressed to the nines with classic Caddy cues, making it the perfect companion for discerning customers looking to hit the town, but be back by 7.
Giving a nod to the classic Cadillac Brougham from the ‘70s and ‘80s, the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Brougham Edition features skirted rear wheel wells that house a unique set of solid disc chrome wheels wrapped in whitewall tires. The exterior shows its sassy side with a vinyl top available in “Oh so gray” (pictured here) and “Leather tan.” Both tops cover up the CT5’s somewhat controversial C-pillar along with the small window on the rear doors. A gold pin stripe and classic wreathed hood ornament are standard, while a golden finish for the badges is optional.
The classic cues continue into the cabin, where bench seats accommodate up to six passengers – perfect for taking the grandkids for a ride around the block. The upholstery was upgraded as well, and now incorporates velour for the seats and headliner, available in black, tan, or, for those feeling particularly saucy, purple.
The infotainment gear was upgraded as well, with the screens and other digital nonsense swapped for a tape deck and Delco Bose audio system. A compact disc changer is optional, mounting in the trunk for convenience. The cabin’s carbon inlays was also replaced with mahogany wood trim throughout.
Other touches include a new “Soft” drive mode that includes a unique “floating barge” tune for the Magnetic Ride Control suspension.
“At Cadillac, we like to call the new CT5-V Blackwing Brougham Edition the ‘Boca Bruiser,’ as we’re sure the folks here in Florida will be eager to order this new special edition four-door by the boatload,” said global Cadillac chief Ron Jon.

Needs a stand-up hood ornament!
Poisson d’Avril
Don’t forget fake convertible top!
The April Fools joke that really isn’t funny…you know there are people out there that would be all for this.
They could sell a ton of these in Boca!
April Fools… I get it. But really, it would jump start sales in South Florida and Palm Springs!
Is there a simulated wire wheel cover available as an option?? ROFL
I hate April fools stories. Especially this dumb
And yet here you are…
Might be April Fools , and oh so ” real car people ” , might laugh , but the original Broughams sold big time.
I know its a joke but I like the Wreath and Crest Emblem.
Smooth move guys. You had me until the tape deck in the inconvenient CD changer in the trunk. I remember those and they were a pain in the butt. My parents always drove Fleetwood Broughams as long as you were making them. I wouldn’t mind a little more luxury in today’s Cadillac.
I want one! Needs a continental kit though.
Where are the tailfins?
It’s mostly been said by others, but my little addition, if you are going to put a Cadillac crest on the back or sides, why not use the old one. I miss the ducks.
What I really want is a 6 speed Blackwing with super cruise and all wheel drive so I don’t have to park it 5 months out of the year.
And the V instead of the wreath. Advertise the hell out of that V8.
Those “ducks” were actually merlets and a symbol that dates back to the crusades. Over the last few years, Cadillac has lost a lot more than the merlets.
Woodward, Grand River, and Belle Isle in Detroit would be lined up for blocks!!!
LOL, you had me going! Well done.
Is that real Corinthian leather?
No, you get that from Stellantis!
Ahem, that is Fleetwood Brougham.
Wouldn’t surprise me at all.
Cadillac buyers would love it.
Just don’t forget the opera light.
Yes , we would! When Cadillac was baroque it SOLD.
Haha, good one…
Mock if they will, but those are Cadillacs, that the loyal Cadillac buyers loved, and purchased, and drove proudly for many years, before the down years, and it was those Brougham, De ‘Elegance and loaded De Ville’s, of the 70’s and early 80’s, that kept Cadillac sales up, and
buyers com g back for their next one.
Yes, a a CT5-V with a bit, a little bit of Brougham, would still have a market, but no skirts, or vinyl tops please 👍 and don’t call it the ‘B’ word.
Now I know I’m getting old ’cause this sounds dreamy, especially with thefloaty ride! I’m almost 50 and yes, I live in Florida.
Keep those disc wheel covers and put on some 45 spoke wire wheels with Vogue tires.
Not ” old ” at all. Every smart kid , including myself loved Cadillacs , and young people loved them… example ; sports figures, stars, rock in rollers .
Why not fun , style comfort?
Bold Cadillacs sold , and didn’t struggle with identity.
I just wish it had a mold on the backside of the trunk for a spare tire! With a wire mesh gold wheel of course!
I would have used CT6 and call it “CT 60 Special” instead of using the CT5 then offer a LWB Fleetwood Brougham. The 2-door would be the sporty Eldorado. Watch sales soar.
Love it…and i ĺiive ìn Sabattus–not Boca!
Chuck Jordan would be proud.
I drive a DTS Base and love it. It’s taken me everywhere and has a “rag top” roofing and I get compliments galore with the chrome wheels factories. Had a Sedan DeVille prior to the DTS which was lovely also. Cadillac corporation should bring back the standard of luxury instead of these scaled down SUV looking models of today!
