The 2024 Cadillac XT6 crossover gets only a handful of changes and updates compared to the previous model year. However, it drops three exterior paint colors from the available palette while getting two new ones – Emerald Lake Metallic and Midnight Sky Metallic. Here are the details of the Midnight Sky color.
Designated by color code GXF and touch-up paint code WA-132H, Midnight Sky Metallic is one of seven paint colors offered on the 2024 Cadillac XT6, which include:
- Argent Silver Metallic
- Crystal White Tricoat
- Opulent Blue Metallic
- Radiant Red Metallic
- Stellar Black Metallic
- Emerald Lake Metallic (new for 2024)
- Midnight Sky Metallic (new for 2024)
The Midnight Sky Metallic is an extra-charge exterior paint option priced at $625, available across all trim levels of the 2024 Cadillac XT6. It is also available in conjunction with all six interior colorways on the crossover.
For reference, here are all the interior colorways the 2024 XT6 can be optioned with:
- Jet Black
- Jet Black with Jet Black Accents
- Cirrus with Dark Titanium Accents
- Cirrus with Jet Black Accents
- Dark Auburn with Jet Black Accents
- Maple Sugar with Jet Black Accents
Pricing for the 2024 Cadillac XT6 is mostly unchanged from the 2023 model year, as GM Authority previously uncovered. The entry-level Luxury trim FWD configuration is priced at $50,190, and the starting price for the range-topping Sport trim with AWD is set at $61,690. These MSRPs include a $1,395 destination freight charge (DFC).
As a reminder, two powerplants are available for the crossover: the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine developing 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Cog swaps are handled by the GM 9-speed automatic transmission, while both FWD and AWD are offered as standard or optional by trim.
Under the skin, the 2024 Cadillac XT6 uses the GM C1 platform for structure, with the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee as the crossover’s exclusive North American production site.

I don’t care what color it is, if you buy it you’re going to lose nearly half its value after the first year.
We just got rid of our 2023 with the highest optioned packages available including super cruise.
Msrp on thev23 was just under $77,000.
Several attempts to trade it including at rick hendrick Chevrolet in naples, fla. Resulted in offes around $40,000 toward a new high end tahoe.
Disgusting to see the value drop that much on a car with around 30,000 miles on it in perfect condition.
The excuses given were that the rental companies just dumped a lot of used rentals on the market.
I’ll think long and hard about any gm product in the future. We dumped the xt6 for a new vw atlas. Hard pill to swallow for a lifelong gm family but that xt6 mess did it.
Buy at your own peril.
Selling high optioned vehicles in perfect condition by owner can result in a much higher sales price. The low trade in price offered by the dealer is typical. I always sell my vehicles myself and always can negotiate a better price on the new vehicle without a trade in. I have a GM visa credit card that accumulates points off new vehicles and along with waiting for buyer incentives I am able to reduce the price by thousands of dollars.
Only seven color offerings from the USA’s premier automotive retailer……so pathetic.
When will the xt6 offer the kono salvage interior ?????????
Let see some color like red, blue, yellow, gold etc
