Only a few updates and changes are introduced with the 2024 Cadillac XT6 crossover, with the refresh put off for at least one more year. The model gets two new exterior paint colors, Emerald Lake Metallic and Midnight Sky Metallic, while three others are dropped from the palette. Here’s a closer look at the Emerald Lake color.
Tagged with color code G6I and touch-up paint code WA-616D, Emerald Lake Metallic is included among the 2024Â Cadillac XT6 crossover’s seven paint colors, which consist of the following:
- Argent Silver Metallic
- Crystal White Tricoat
- Opulent Blue Metallic
- Radiant Red Metallic
- Stellar Black Metallic
- Emerald Lake Metallic (new for 2024)
- Midnight Sky Metallic (new for 2024)
All trim levels of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 can be ordered with the Emerald Lake Metallic paint color. As an extra-charge option, it is priced at an additional $625. Emerald lake can be combined with all six of the model year’s interior colorways.
For reference, the following interior colorways are offered on the 2024 XT6:
- Jet Black
- Jet Black with Jet Black Accents
- Cirrus with Dark Titanium Accents
- Cirrus with Jet Black Accents
- Dark Auburn with Jet Black Accents
- Maple Sugar with Jet Black Accents
Pricing carries over largely unchanged from the 2023 XT6 to the 2024 model year, as GM Authority discovered earlier. Starting prices range from a low of $50,190 for the front-wheel-drive XT6 Luxury to $61,690 for the range-topping Sport with all-wheel drive. A $1,395 destination freight charge is included in these prices.
The 2024 Cadillac XT6 cradles one of two powerplants under the hood – either the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, or the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The GM 9-speed automatic transmission delivers power to the axles, while front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive are standard or optional depending on trim level.
The GM C1 platform underpins the 2024 Cadillac XT6, while the model is currently produced at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

This is such a good looking SUV from the outside, it needs the Refresh like the XT4 badly!
This likely the last year for the XT6
Hope the green sticks around for a couple of years. I’ve seen it on some other models and like it.
I don’t know about this shade of green. I’ll have to see it in real time. There aren’t too many greens I’ve liked regardless of who the manufacturer is. Besides, isn’t green a bad luck color on vehicles or is it just on motorcycles? The superstitious want to know. 😂
I bet that looks good on a sport with the onyx package!
