2024 Cadillac XT5 Gets New Emerald Lake Metallic Color: First Look

The 2024 Cadillac XT5 crossover debuts only a handful of updates and changes from the 2023 model year, including the removal of three colors from the list of available paint colors. Two new exterior colors were also added to the palette, consisting of Emerald Lake Metallic and Midnight Sky Metallic. Here are the details of the Emerald Lake color

Emerald Lake Metallic is identified with color code G6I and touch-up paint code WA-616D. It is one of seven paint colors offered on the 2024 Cadillac XT5, with the complete lineup consisting of the following:

  • Argent Silver Metallic
  • Crystal White Tricoat
  • Opulent Blue Metallic
  • Radiant Red Metallic
  • Stellar Black Metallic
  • Emerald Lake Metallic (new for 2024)
  • Midnight Sky Metallic (new for 2024)

The Emerald Lake Metallic paint color is an extra-charge option priced at $625 on the 2024 Cadillac XT5. It is available on all three trim levels and in conjunction with all six interior colorways.

  • Jet Black
  • Cirrus with Dark Titanium accents
  • Cirrus with Jet Black accents

Prices of the 2024 Cadillac XT5 are slightly different from the 2023 model year. The pricing of the crossover ranges from $45,290 for the Luxury trim in FWD configuration to $58,190 starting MSRP for the range-topping Sport trim level with all-wheel drive. The $1,395 destination freight charge or DFC is included in these prices.

The 2024 Cadillac XT5 is available with two engine choices: the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine cranking out 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The GM nine-speed automatic transmission provides cog swaps for both powerplants, while the drivetrain is either FWD or AWD.

The GM C1 platform provides the bones for the 2024 XT5, which continues to roll off the assembly line at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

  2. It’s hard to judge a color from a photo. There have been many colors I have deemed ugly from a photo, only to see them in the real world and immediately change my mind. Also, the exact opposite is true as well. Based on a photo deem a color great only to see it in the real world and think it’s hideous.

    Bottom line, always go see the color in the real world before making a purchase.
