2024 Cadillac Lyriq Black-Painted Roof Option Available To Order Again

The Black-painted roof (RPO code 41T) for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq is once again available to order, GM Authority has learned, after becoming unavailable back in October 2023.

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq that the Black-painted roof is offered on as a color option incorporates only a few updates and changes from the 2023 model year, when the Caddy EV crossover was initially launched.

While the Black-painted roof was previously offered as an option only on the Luxury 3 and Sport 3 trim levels, it is now available on all trims except for the entry-level Tech. This means the black roof color can be ordered in conjunction with the Luxury 1, Sport 1, Luxury 2, Sport 2, Luxury 3 and Sport 3 trim levels of the 2024 Lyriq.

Out of the eight exterior paint choices of the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq, the Black-painted roof can be combined with seven of the colors. The one color it obviously cannot be ordered with is Stellar Black Metallic (paint code GB8). As before, it is priced at an additional $600.

As GM Authority previously uncovered, pricing for the 2024 Lyriq ranges from a starting MSRP of $58,590 for the Tech trim level to $71,090 for the Sport 3 trim, slightly more than Luxury 3 trim’s $70,590 base price. These prices include a $1,395 destination freight charge. Several packages are offered for the 2024 model year, while nearly all exterior paint colors are extra-charge options.

As a reminder, the 2024 Lyriq RWD is equipped with a single motor connected to the rear axle, enabling it to crank out 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, two electric motors motivate the Lyriq AWD with one connected to each axle, developing a combined 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque.

Ultium battery and GM Ultium Drive motor technologies provide the electric drivetrain for all configurations of the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq. The vehicle’s range varies by setup, with a full charge providing 314 miles of range on the RWD variant and 307 miles for the AWD version.
