This 2024 Chevy Tahoe, Suburban 22-Inch Wheel Is Available To Order Again

The 2024 Chevy Tahoe and 2024 Chevy Suburban drop in as the fourth model years for the current-generation of both full-size SUVs, which was first introduced for the 2021 model year. Both SUVs were refreshed for the 2025 model year, however, the 2024 model year still brings with it a few small updates and changes. Now, GM Authority has learned that the 2024 Chevy Tahoe and 2024 Chevy Suburban are once again available to order with one specific wheel set.

The 2024 Chevy Tahoe and 2024 Chevy Suburban are once again available to order with the optional 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels.

22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels (SSW)

The wheel set in question is the 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheel set, tagged with RPO code SSW. These wheels were previously unavailable to order for quite a long time – in fact, the wheels were unavailable throughout 2024-model-year production for both full-size SUVs, and even throughout 2023-model-year production.

According to GM Authority sources, the 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels are now available for the 2024 Chevy Tahoe and 2024 Chevy Suburban. Pricing is set at $3,795 for the set, with availability for the LS, LT, RST, Premier, and High Country trim levels. The 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels are not available for the Z71 trim level.

The 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheel set is offered as an LPO-level option, which means they are installed by the dealer after the vehicle is shipped, as opposed to installation at the factory. Units of the 2024 Chevy Tahoe and 2024 Chevy Suburban that are ordered with the 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels option are shipped from the factory on 22-inch steel transit wheels, with the suspension set to the proper alignment specs for the 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels. The steel transit wheels are then shipped back to the plant by the dealer after the optional wheel set is installed.

As a reminder, the 2024 Chevy Tahoe and 2024 Chevy Suburban offer three powerplant options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine. The GM T1 platform provides the underpinnings, while production takes place at the GM Arlington facility in Texas.
