SAIC-GM, General Motors’ main joint venture in China, has just revealed the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision S – making its official debut in the Asian country.
The automaker revealed the first official images and information of the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision S in China, the country of origin and sole manufacturing center worldwide for Buick‘s compact crossover. The second-generation Envision’s mid-cycle refresh, which was partially revealed last June in the United States, debuts and is about to go on sale in the Chinese market as the 2024 Envision S.
Notably, with the official debut of the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision S in China GM is showing all the notable changes that the updated model will introduce that, debuting a new front end inspired by the brand’s Pure Design language, new rear lighting and an extensively redesigned interior with the latest technological innovations. In fact, this is the first time that the manufacturer has fully revealed the interior design of the refreshed 2024 Envision.
The refreshed 2024 Buick Envision S continues the renewal of the brand’s extensive product portfolio in China, and stands out for including a front fascia with more stylized features, adapting the characteristic elements of the new face of Buick such as the shark nose, the prominent lower grille and slim split driving lights. Aside from the sleek Avenir trim, the 2024 Envision S debuts with blacked-out accents that give it a bolder look.
For its part, the new interior design of the 2024 Buick Envision S integrates Buick’s latest intelligent cockpit system with a huge 30-inch continuous curved screen that draws attention and raises the level of onboard connectivity. It also features the brand’s new steering wheel, a more refined dashboard, higher-quality upholstery and a new rotary selector on the center console to control the infotainment system.
The refreshed 2024 Buick Envision S will be officially launched in the coming weeks in China, where its arrival throughout the dealer network is scheduled for the first half of this year. It is expected to maintain the current powertrains, with turbocharged 1.5L and 2.0L engines, and will soon go into production at the SAIC-GM Jinqiao South plant in Shanghai, coinciding with the expected start of regular production of the North American 2024 Buick Envision.

This actually looks hot! The blacked-out exterior parts work well with the gold color. Can the US official reveal be far behind?
Love it! Great looking, techie, lux. With the fact that the Chinese GM workers build some of the best cars in the world, this is one awesome vehicle.
What a disaster. The current model is beautiful… This is yet another ugly Hyundai looking hunk of junk. Buick needs new designers fast.
It doesn’t have the rotary gear selector as you can see clearly. There’s a column mounted gear stalk just like every new GM vehicle and it’s a knob to control the screen.
How much you want to bet… USA will not get that cool color? It will be replaced by a sensible shade of gray here in Buick’s ancestral home.
That color already exists in North America with the Encore GX and Envista. So there is a huge possibility the Envision will follow through with that color too.
Are you tryna say that’s Copper Ice? Looks different to me, but… CGI manipulates colors.
Production has already started on 2024 Buick Envision ours is waiting to be loaded on the ship March 22, 2024
Has your dealer estimated an on-the-street date for your car?
He said 4-6 weeks it hasn’t been loaded on the ship yet
Hi! I also have one on order. How do you know yours is being shipped out today?
I just put the date there because I didn’t think this site was showing when things were posted, but it is waiting to get loaded on the ship 4-6 weeks
Wow 2 engine choices, nice looking car especially from the side view. Now if gm could give us engine choices in other models like the equinox
This looks better, inside and out, than the Cadillac XT4 and the Cadillac is more expensive.
I’m going to give GM until July 4th and if the new Envision MCR models are not in dealerships, I’m going to buy anything comparable that are in showrooms. For a sophisticated organization that GM is, the constant churn in SORP dates is really frustrating.
That’s sharp looking, love the interior refresh, too.
