As GM Authority recently reported, the updated 2025 Chevy S10 will debut next month in Brazil, and a new render just previewed significant design changes for Chevrolet‘s midsize pickup.
The Instagram profile @gessnermotors published a new render of the updated 2025 Chevy S10, anticipating the design changes introduced by the imminent refreshed version of the bow-tie brand’s international truck manufactured exclusively by GM’s Brazilian subsidiary. The render is based on the latest spy photos and accurately represents the exterior adjustments the 2025 Chevy S10 will receive.

According to the Brazilian publication, an internal source at GM Brazil gave him a very detailed description of the changes to the updated 2025 Chevy S10 that allowed him to create the render shortly before the official presentation of the vehicle. In fact, the media affirms that the result achieved in the projection corresponding to the exterior design of the next Chevy truck “is very faithful to what will be presented in April.”

2025 Chevy S10 Rendering – Gessner Motors
Being a thorough update rather than a complete redesign, the design changes of the 2025 Chevy S10 will be concentrated mainly in the front. It will receive elements inspired by the new North American Chevy Colorado but maintain its own look. The render reflects some exclusive features of the 2025 Chevy S10 that can be seen in some prototypes, such as the trapezoidal grille and sharp headlights with arrow-shaped ends.
Other elements, such as the general format of the headlights, the prominent horizontal bar that connects them, the interior pattern of some grille finishes, and the position of the fog lights, appear similar to the Colorado. The sides will only receive minor finishing adjustments concerning the current S10, maintaining the round wheel arches and the same cabin structure and cargo box. The rear will have new lights and tailgate stamping.
The updated 2025 Chevy S10 will debut next month in Brazil during the 2024 Londrina Agricultural and Industrial Exhibition (ExpoLondrina) in the Brazilian state of Paraná, which will open its doors from April 5 to 14. In addition to the exterior changes, the 2025 S10 will debut an all-new interior with more technological equipment, an improved powertrain, and a new-generation eight-speed automatic transmission.

again a damn 4 door truck with a small bed !!!! WTF ?!?!! had high hopes that finally someone would bring back a regular “small” pick-up with 2 doors and a full size bed….
CAFE killed the 2 door pickups’. Blame your govt.
I’d like to see something from GM to compete with the Bronco and Jeep Wrangler. Don’t say Blazer, that’s just another Equinox iteration.
Our govt in the usa ruins everything. Drain the swap and cut the fat.
I hoped it would at least kind of look like my square body 87 s10.chevy..do better
If the passenger compartment is larger than the cargo area, I wouldn’t call it a truck. It’s just an SUV with an open cargo area.
Bring the S10 to tbe U.S. to compete against the Ford Maverick and the Asian imports.
The Brazilian S10 is almost as big as the all new Ford Ranger and about the same size as the previous generation Ranger.
These images don’t show its real size.
The problem would be second-row seating; they have generous second-row seating due to them (Maverick) being based on crossovers. Chevrolet has the following choices,
1. Turn the Equinox into a pickup by stretching and adding a unibody bed
2. Chop the Colorado second row and keep the short bed
3. Build an entry level single cab 1500 shortbed
How did CAFE kill 2-door trucks? I thought it was buyer preference.
Chevy already offers a 2-door short bed (6 foot) Silverado WT.
It’s literally a Colorado. We already have the Colorado. The Chevy Montana is the Ford Maverick equivalent. Well probably never get the Montana.
A small truck like the old S-10 would be a great platform for electrification because it would most likely be used for lighter tasks. I had a S-10 for almost 25 years. It averaged less than 10,000 miles a year, but it was really popular with my kids, neighbors and friends for light hauling around town. I think a no frills 6’ bed regular cab sub $30K electric S-10 with 125 miles range while carrying 5 or 6 hundred pounds would be a perfect light truck for urban dwellers.
Really wish GM would bring this S10 design back to the Blazer and drop the SUV current design. It could compete with the Bronco
Funny you mention the “New” Blazer. First, it’s a sin too call it a Blazer. The name should never, have been used in the way it is now. The S-10 in Brazil, is really a rebadged Colorado/Canyon anyway. Now sweet it would be if GM took this truck and designed a Real Blazer again? Think it would sell? Damn right it would. Oh, wait. Mary will NEVER let it happen. Just wishin’and hopin’.
Your right Pete, I have owned K5 Blazers of the 80’s and even a 94 2 dr Turbo diesel, awesome rigs but shortly after GM decided to go 4 dr and rebadge them Tahoe and build the S10 with the Blaxer tag. I bought a few of those for my kiddos and they held up great for their college years. That 4.3 was a good match for that platform. I drove the Trail Blazer for a few years as GM decided to go SUV crazy. IMO we do not need all these SUV’s . Come on do we really need like 8 SUV’s of various names .I think not. Yes I do own the new Blazer, wife loves it and I can say I do like the 3.6 in this vehicle. I also own a Silverado ZR2 that is basically just a very quick mean looking, awesome sounding (Borla added) truck that gets terrible mpg because it sounds great and very quick on the throttle. Probably not going to keep it long tho. When the 25 refresh Yukons become available I will be making that leap back to the full sized SUV.
my guess is it be built on that buick thing from china
Not until a manual transmission AND 4WD are available will I buy one. Great job GM, way to ignore an entire market segment (just in case the all automatic Corvette wasn’t ridiculous enough)!
Looks like a stupid Ridgeline with those bedlines.
Electric batteries are gonna leak in greed will be the 💀 of humans on earth were all be scammed waste of time in money God will change the world like he also has and there will be no more manufactured vehicles 2030.#watch and if they built a regular beds then this generation wouldn’t need to keep buying unsatisfying trucks.
i totally agree with ZZ48UUP….my old s-10 was an extended cab, with a full size bed and the bed did NOT have a high rake on it so it was easier to load things unlike my current GMC canyon …and there is a market segment that does want a compact 2 door truck…heck back in the day, EVERY manufacturer had a nice small pick-up with a full size bed…
I will keep my 01 S-10 extended cab extreme! There isn’t anything close today except a Nissan or Toyota and their extra cabs can’t be fully equipped. They all are too high to enter easily. The Maverick in an extended cab would be close.
You would think that so-called automotive journalists would know proper automotive nomenclature. The reproduction art piece is a RENDERING, not a render. One is a noun, one is a verb. But, then again, what can you expect from today’s college graduates.
I am very disappointed in GM for slapping the S10 badge on this monstrosity. This is the equivalent of a damn honda ridgeline with an updated front end. No different then in the late 80s when GM slapped the Nova badge on a toyota Corolla. I dont know who is making decisions at GM but all I can say is DO BETTER.
