The 2024 Chevy Express van remains largely unchanged from the original design perfected in a Michigan wind tunnel back in 1994, other than some changes introduced in the 2003 refresh. Prices and availability of certain equipment have been adjusted for 2024, with a notable price hike, but today, GM Authority is examining the available Express interior colors offered for the vehicle.
Overall, the 2024 model year has four total combinations of Chevy Express interior colors and materials offered across the van’s three trim levels, the Passenger LS, Passenger LT, and Work Van trims. Notably, the Work Van trim includes both the Cargo Van and Cutaway variants. The following table shows availability of the Express interior colors:
Interior | Seat Trim | Color Code | Passenger LS | Passenger LT | Work Van |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Neutral | Vinyl | 52W | - | - | S |
Neutral | Custom Cloth | 52G | - | - | A |
Medium Pewter | Vinyl | 93W | S | - | S |
Medium Pewter | Custom Cloth | 93G | A | S | A |
Passenger LS, Passenger LT
Work Van
Vinyl seats are offered at no extra charge, while cloth seats are priced at $255 for 2024 Chevy Express Passenger LS vans and $70 for Work Van variants. The Passenger LT trim comes equipped with cloth seats as standard. Only two Chevy Express interior colors are offered for each of these materials, Neutral and Medium Pewter.
Potential buyers who want to test out various builds of the vans, including different Express interior colors, can use the online configurator that recently went live. GM Authority has also highlighted pricing for the Express, with MSRPs rising between $1,600 and $2,900 depending on the specific model.
The thriftiest setup is the Express Cargo 2500 Regular Wheelbase in the Work Truck trim with the 4.3L V6 LV1 under the hood. This trim starts at $42,595 including the destination freight charge, a 20 percent hike from three years ago.
The various configurations of the 2024 Chevy Express are motivated by one of two powerplants, including the atmospheric 4.3L V6 LV1 gasoline engine rated at 276 horsepower and 298 pound-feet of torque, and the atmospheric 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine generating 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. The V8 L8T engine is became unavailable for a short time on the 2024 Express Cargo, but is now available for all variants again.
Under the body panels, the 2024 Chevy Express is supported by the GMT 610 platform. Production of the Chevy Express takes place at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri, with the Chevy Express Cutaway also built by Navistar at its Ohio facility.

Actually there no colors available since GM won’t build any. My dealer says even though they are taking orders he can’t get an order accepted.
