These include AEV-spec front and rear steel bumpers, auxiliary off-road lights, AEV wheel flares, 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, Multimatic Jounce Control Dampers, and AEV skid plates.

Two engine choices are offered for the 2024 Chevy Colorado, including the Turbo 2.7L I4 L2R gasoline engine rated at 237 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 260 pound-feet of torque from 1,200 to 4,000 rpm, and the Turbo High-Output 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine dishing out 310 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 430 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 rpm. The General eliminated the mid-range Turbo Plus 2.7 I4 L3B gasoline engine developing 310 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque for 2024.

The pricing information GM Authority previously reported reveals a starting price of $31,095 for the base WT trim with RWD, while MSRP for the range-topping ZR2 is set at $48,395. The online configurator for the model year is live on the Bow Tie brand’s site. Both MSRP and destination freight charge increased for all trim levels in 2024.

Under the body panels, the 2024 Chevy Colorado rides on the updated 31XX-2 platform, with production taking place at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri.

  1. i had a 2016 Colorado LT crew cab with 4 wheel drive and a 2018 Colorado ZR2. Both had the v6 engine. In both vehicles the performance was good, however the quality of the bucket seats were less than okay. Both vehicles had seam issues with the seat, seams starting to come apart only after a few thousand miles of use. I liked the vehicles other than this distracting issue. GM sent the vehicles to a repair contractor which did a poor job of correcting the seat seam failure issue. Replacement of the driver’s seats was the final answer to resolve this issue. Both Colorado vehicles suffered from driver seat seam failure. Neat wheels are okay, but lets address the quality and design of the the vehicle seats as a number one priority. I left the Colorado vehicle family and back to the Crew Cab Silverado with much better satisfaction.

  2. Eleven different wheels and not single one I would have on my truck. The standard 17″ aluminum wheels on my 22′ are 100 times better looking than ANY of them. Who designs all this stupid looking stuff?
