It’s easy to let your emotions get the best of you when you’re behind the wheel, but the consequences can be deadly. The better option is to just let it go and stop yourself from making a bad decision based on another driver’s poor driving. Unfortunately, the individuals in the GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado featured in the following viral video failed to heed that advice, leading to a high-speed showdown that punts the Sierra off the road.
The incident was captured by another motorist equipped with dash cams, and was recently posted to social media.
The video opens with a white Chevy Silverado HD following the camera vehicle in the left lane, as seen by a rear-facing camera. As the video gets underway, we see a blue GMC Sierra quickly accelerating in the right lane, then aggressively cross two lanes to cut off the Silverado. In response, the Silverado driver accelerates in an attempt to block the Sierra’s advance. The driver in the Sierra is undeterred and pushes into the lane, forcing the Silverado onto the shoulder.
Stupid moves, all around. However, the Silverado driver opts to continue the buffoonery by passing on the shoulder, overtaking the Sierra and camera vehicle in the process.
The video then shifts to the front-facing camera after the GMC Sierra driver overtakes the dash cam vehicle, once again on the shoulder. The Sierra tailgates the Silverado before moving to once again pass on the shoulder. In response, the Chevy Silverado driver veers to the left, causing the Sierra driver to jerk the steering wheel, placing the rear tires on the grass. You can guess what comes next.
The GMC Sierra starts to slide, spinning out of control right in front of a semi truck. It’s unclear if anyone was hurt in the crash, but it certainly doesn’t look good.

Stupid is what stupid does.
That saddest part? That poor semi trucker is just minding his own business and trying to earn a living just to have a chump in a pickup truck with an ego ruin it all.
Karma rules.
Dearest Stanley D Walton,
We hope this message finds you well.
After a thorough review of your file we have decided to hire Charles E. Cheese for the position.

Forget the road rage. What about the awful music those people were listening to? Imagine living like that!
You must be fun at parties
I am. I don’t play trash music like those people.
Sees someone possibly get hurt or die… looks at the radio… “this music is the worst!”
People you don’t want to have as emergency contacts.
Those people who play loud music should be FINED. And I mean HEAVILY. It disturbs others who are doing something very busily.
Relax its just KC and the Sunshine Band.
Lady G.
You must be young, and/or have poor taste in music.
Because that was a big hit for KC & The Sunshine Band in 1982.
Major bar staple, too
Fixed his wagon, but good!
And you all thought the music was the poor choice in the video??? Can you turn it up so I don’t have to listen to this crap??
That was not the point.
What do you mean?
I’d suggest the cammer send both front and rear facing videos to law enforcement so proper tickets can be issued … to BOTH pickup drivers! Clearly the guy in the blue GMC was in a hurry and was lane jockeying when the white silverado sped up to try to keep him from getting into the left lane … but then took it a step further by passing illegally. Then blue GMC driver tried to repay the illegal pass with one of his own, but silverado boy wasn’t having it and decided to cause an accident instead, then leave the scene. BOTH drivers definitely need to be punished! Complete stupidity.
Chevy wasn’t taking no $hit
Shifting blame to the Silverado is a stretch. The man in the GMC has Freewill like the rest of us and CHOSE to follow the Silverado and CHOSE to try to overtake him again. His OWN CHOICES led to his demise don’t try putting the blood on anyone else’s hands. Journalists are literally scummy vampires who think they’re own opinions are “news”
