The GMC Hummer EV has all the good stuff to take you off the pavement and out onto the trail, but if you’re looking for overnight accommodations, you’re going to need a little something extra. That’s where EarthCruiser comes in. EarthCruiser is an aftermarket overlanding company that offers a fully integrated upgrade to transform the all-electric Hummer into a mobile apartment. Now, this EarthCruise-upgraded 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup Camper is up for grabs.
Recently listed in a new online auction, this GMC Hummer EV is ready to go with a long list of amenities and extra features. First things first – the integrated carbon fiber house in back contains a unique EarthCruise camper layout with several appliances, an array of power outlets, space for a full-size bed, copious storage, and a flat-pack toilet.
The onboard solar panels are rated at 605 watts. The roof is also insulated, while appliances include a fridge, a freezer, and an induction stovetop. An additional 6 kWh lithium battery and 1,500-watt inverter were added as well. A sink, 13.5-gallon fresh water tank, seven-gallon gray water system, and internal / external showers are also onboard.
Under it all, you’ll find a 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 Pickup, which was equipped from the factory with a 212-kWh GM Ultium battery pack that provides the juice to three GM Ultium Drive motors. The exterior was repainted in gray, while the stock 18-inch beadlock-capable wheels still ride in the corners. The cabin incorporates Jet Black and Light Gray leather upholstery, while locking e-diffs, CrabWalk mode, and Air Ride suspension round out the specs.
Now, this upgraded GMC Hummer EV EarthCruiser Camper is up for grabs at Bring A Trailer, with the highest bid of seven placed thus far set at $100,000. The auction ends Friday. The Hummer has 8,319 miles on the clock, and is located in Oregon.

Instead of being called the EV earthcruiser, it needs to be called earth-crusher.
A recent report knocked the Hummers for being the least efficient EV’s on the market and for being worse than many smaller ICE vehicles when it comes to it’s carbon footprint.
These things are pigs and don’t deserve to be taking up space where affordable and green EV’s should be.
This is called taking an absurd EV that shouldn’t even exist into even more absurd territory. Hope it doesn’t sell.
Why shouldn’t it exist? I have a neighbor with one of these beasts and he charges at home with solar panels – yes it is the least efficient BEV, but still way more efficient and locally cleaner than any ICE engine. To each their own.
Thank you! For the life of me, I cannot understand the negativity associated with this vehicle. Calling it a pig, that does not deserve to exist? Ai-yi-yi. To each, their own? AMEN! Also, the supposed “fact” that you are on some political agenda when you buy an EV? Politics has never been a factor in any auto, truck, motorcycle that I have ever owned.
Rick, the anti-BEV sentiment on here clouds any ability to reason, despite verifiable fact presentation. This HUMMER EV has way more utility than a C8 corvette at a similar price point (and nearly as fast), yet they will fawn over the C8 ad nauseam and never question its existence. Nothing against the Vette, but my Tesla is quicker, seats 7 and can carry my mountain bike – didn’t buy it to save the world. I also love my modified Duramax ZR2 as an off road beast, but its not practical as an everyday driver. Every purchase is somehow a political statement now and must be judged accordingly. As a former HUMMER H3 owner, I have an affection for the new one and after having an opportunity to ride in one recently, I have to say, it is awesome.
