In March 2024, a Chevy Blazer EV lease is available nationwide on the 2024 Blazer EV LT eAWD, along with local market Chevy Blazer EV lease offers on other trim levels.
The 2024 Blazer EV qualifies again for the U.S. EV tax credit of $7,500, specifically for newly produced units going forward. Also, GM is offering an Ultium Promise cash rebate of $7,500 for any examples previously built that lost the EV tax credit. Either way, buyers of the 2024 Blazer EV receive $7,500 toward the purchase of the all-electric midsize crossover.

About Chevrolet Blazer EV
In July 2022, the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV made its official debut, ushering in the Bow Tie brand’s mass-market midsize battery-electric crossover. Headlined by a maximum GM-estimated range of 320 miles from a full charge, the Chevy Blazer EV will be available in front-, rear-, and all-wheel drive configurations, while the trim level lineup will include 2LT, RS, and Blazer EV SS, along with a Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) model for law enforcement, making it the quickest police package ever offered by Chevy.
The first two trim levels on sale are the Chevy Blazer EV 2LT AWD and RS AWD, but the upcoming RS RWD will include a higher capacity battery pack than these trim levels.
The Bow Tie brand is even introducing a Super Sport model with the first-ever 2024 Chevy Blazer EV SS. A standard performance AWD propulsion configuration delivers up to 557 horsepower and 648 pound-feet of torque in the crossover, enabling a zero to 60 mph time of under four seconds in the Wide Open Watts (WOW) acceleration setting. Additional performance-focused features include a specific sport-tuned chassis and Brembo front brakes.
Check out the horsepower and torque figures of the 2024 Blazer EV RS RWD, along with the 2LT AWD and RS AWD variants.
Recently, the 2024 Blazer EV now offers a new Blackout Package and a new Black Illumination Package, both exclusively available on the 2LT trim.
A Chevy Blazer EV stop-sale order, issued in January, was still in effect in February as GM worked hard to resolve software issues. However, earlier this month, GM released a software update for the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV, with certain units of the Blazer EV affected by the recent stop-sale order released from the order following the implementation of this latest software update.
Around that same time, GM resumed 2024 Chevy Blazer EV sales with a significant price drop.
“As announced recently, pricing for Blazer EV’s entry-level trim – the LT FWD, will start under $50,000 (excluding tax, title, license, and dealer fees),” GM stated. “We will announce final pricing for this and remaining models (RS FWD, SS) closer to their on-sale date.”
Consequently, early 2024 Chevy Blazer EV buyers may be getting money back following the new MSRP reduction.
The Chevy Blazer EV was among NACTOY’s “Best of 2024” list, being among the 25 vehicles advancing to the finalist round of the 30th annual North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year Awards and one of 10 semifinalists for 2024 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year.
Additionally, the Chevy Blazer EV was named the 2024 MotorTrend SUV of the Year. The publication says that the 2024 Blazer EV is “easy to drive, easy to live with, easy to use,” offering a “fiery” design with real “swagger.”
On a side note, the Chevy Blazer EV doesn’t include free home charging station installation like select buyers of the Chevy Bolt EV and Bolt EUV get.
The all-electric midsize crossover rides on the GM BEV3 platform, while GM Ultium batteries pair with GM Ultium Drive motors for motivation.
