At the top of Cadillac’s ICE-powered luxury crossover lineup, the Cadillac XT6 was recently confirmed to return to the North American market for the 2025 model year. The XT6 saw its average transaction price (ATP) barely shift throughout Q4 2023.
According to a report from Cox Automotive, the average transaction price of the Cadillac XT6 decreased just 0.1 percent to $60,405, making for the smallest decline of all Caddy models during this timeframe. Meanwhile, sales of the luxury crossover dropped more than 12 percent to 4,955 units in Q4 2023.
It’s worth noting that sales of the luxury marque overall dropped seven percent to 36,378 units in Q4 2023. Meanwhile, overall General Motors sales stood at a 0.2 percent gain to 619,684 units.
Of course, the XT6 hasn’t seen many notable updates since its debut for the 2020 model year. As such, stable ATPs are to be expected for this 3-row crossover. Looking forward, it’s uncertain what direction General Motors may decide to take the XT6. As previously mentioned, it was just confirmed that the XT6 will have a 2025 model year in the U.S., and no refreshed prototypes have been spotted on public roads. As such, there’s a good chance that XT6 ATPs will remain stable in the near future.
The current 2024 Cadillac XT6 is powered by either the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, or the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. No matter the engine option, the GM nine-speed automatic transmission is equipped as standard, while FWD is standard and AWD is optional. The XT6 plays in a competitive segment of midsize 3-row luxury crossovers like the Lincoln Nautilus, Lexus TX, and Acura MDX.
Regarding structure, the XT6 rides on the GM C1 platform, while production for the North American market kicked off in June 2023 at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

A freshened front-end and interior would probably boost sales.
Nice looking front end, but otherwise looks very generic. The body needs a much better shape.
Sales are down but transaction prices haven’t budged? Lights are on but nobody’s home.
Would seriously consider if 2025 refresh., if not we will move over to Lexus. The current model is dated, and not as much room as the competition.
