Cadillac CT5 Wins S&P Global Mobility 2023 Luxury Small Car Loyalty Award

The Cadillac CT5 made its way onto the leaderboard in the S&P Global Mobility 2023 Loyalty Awards, earning the title in the Luxury Small Car segment.

The automotive research firm measures loyalty on the basis of existing new vehicle owners subsequently buying another vehicle of the same make, model or manufacturer. The 2023 Automotive Loyalty Awards examined purchasing data from January 2023 through December 2023. Loyalty is determined when a household that owns a new vehicle purchases another new vehicle of the same make, model, or manufacturer. The new vehicle may be a replacement vehicle or a new addition to the household’s garage.

That means that owners of a new Cadillac CT5 are loyal to the luxury sedan, often returning to the market to purchase another when they’re in need of a new vehicle. This is the first time that the CT5 has been recognized in the S&P Global Mobility Loyalty Awards, snatching the Luxury Small Car win from the Tesla Model 3, which held the title in 2022.

Meanwhile, other General Motors vehicles also won their respective segments in the 2023 Loyalty Awards. The GMC Sierra HD scored the win in the Heavy Duty Pickup segment, while the Chevy Bolt EV and Bolt EUV earned the Small Car Loyalty Award. GM itself was recognized for exceptional consumer loyalty, winning the 2023 Overall Loyalty to Manufacturer Award, meaning that GM buyers tend to stick with vehicles made by automakers under the GM umbrella.

Buyers of the Cadillac CT5 may find even more reasons to keep coming back to the luxury sedan, considering that it’s been treated to a substantial midcycle refresh for the 2025 model year. The 2025 Cadillac CT5 greets the world with an updated fascia boasting all-new lightning elements. Its interior features a 33-inch curved diagonal LED infotainment display and a host of technologies just a touch of the screen away, like Google Maps, Google Play, OnStar and 5G Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity.
