Cadillac CT5 Average Transaction Price Up 5 Percent In Q4 2023

Positioned as Cadillac‘s range-topping luxury sedan offering, the Cadillac CT5 is due for a mid-cycle refresh that will bring about significant updates to the exterior and interior for the 2025 model year. With that in mind, the average transaction price of the luxury sedan made a notable rise during Q4 2023.

According to a report from Cox Automotive, the Cadillac CT5 saw a 4.7-percent jump in ATP to $61,405, making for the second-highest increase of the Cadillac lineup. Meanwhile, sales of the luxury sedan fell more than 22 percent to 4,196 over the course of the same timeframe.

It’s worth noting that overall sales of the luxury marque dropped seven percent to 36,378 units during Q4 2023, while General Motors sales stood at a 0.2 percent gain to 619,684 units.

As a reminder, the revised 2025 Cadillac CT5 will be highlighted by a fresh exterior design that features an updated front fascia with unbroken vertical lines. Of course, this new look follows the theme set by the Cadillac CT4 and Cadillac CT6.

Moving inside, the cabin is dominated by an all-new curving 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen with 9K resolution, while tech goodies include 5G Wi-Fi Google built-in compatibility (Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Play), and available OnStar.

Notably, the high-performance variants of the luxury sedan – namely the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing – have also been confirmed to be receiving a mid-cycle refresh for the new model year. However, these models are on their own production schedule, and will thus become available after the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels go on sale.

In regard to the current CT5, Caddy’s luxury sedan is offered with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, or the twin-turbo 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine, rated at 335 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. Notably, the CT5-V also uses the LGY, albeit in a different tune, where it makes 360 horsepower, while the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque, is exclusive to the CT5-V Blackwing.

Under the skin, the Cadillac CT5 rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform, while North American production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
