Positioned as the range-topping model within the Buick lineup, the Buick Enclave is due for an all-new generation with the introduction of the upcoming 2025 model year. With that in mind, the Enclave’s average transaction price (ATP) took a notable dip over Q4 2023 while we await the all-new 2025 model.
According to a report from Cox Automotive, the average transaction price of the Buick Enclave decreased 3.4 percent to $51,975, making it the most expensive Buick model despite the decline in ATP figures. That number is close to the starting price of the Premium trim for the 2024 model. Meanwhile, sales of the Tri-Shield crossover jumped over 42 percent to 10,929 during Q4 2023, making it the second-most popular Buick offering behind the Buick Encore GX.
It’s worth noting that Buick sales increased nearly 57 percent to 42,162 units in Q4 2023, while overall General Motors sales increased a scant 0.2 percent to 619,684 units.
Of course, there haven’t been any significant changes to the Enclave model lineup since last year. Drastic swings in ATP figures are not to be expected. This could change with the launch of the third-generation 2025 Buick Enclave.
As a reminder, the current 2024 Buick Enclave is powered exclusively by the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY gasoline engine, which develops 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, while the GM nine-speed automatic transmission directs this output to the ground via either a standard FWD or optional AWD drivetrain configuration.
Regarding structure, the Enclave rides on the long-wheelbase variant of the GM C1 platform, while production of the 2024 model year kicked off in June 2023 at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan.
Moving forward, the 2025 Enclave has yet to be officially revealed by General Motors. However, that didn’t stop GM Authority from obtaining some spy shots of third-gen crossover in the flesh with no camo. In addition, GM Authority reported exclusive details regarding the interior, which will feature a wide digital screen mounted on top of the dash.
