2026 Cadillac Vistiq In Black: Live Photo Gallery

General Motors announced the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq late last year, introducing an all-new, all-electric three-row crossover that slots in between the Cadillac Lyriq and Cadillac Escalade IQ with regard to the Luxury marque’s EV utility portfolio. Although The General has been a bit stingy when it comes to official Vistiq imagery, we’ve already caught the new battery-powered crossover out on public roads. Now, we’re getting another look thanks to the following GM Authority Live Photo Gallery.

The front end of the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq.

This particular 2026 Cadillac Vistiq is covered in black paint, which is likely the same hue offered by the Cadillac Lyriq, namely Stellar Black Metallic (paint code GB8). These photos provide a clear view of the new crossover from front to back, giving us with a good idea what the EV looks like in real world lighting, with real-world road grime to boot.

The front end shows off a set of vertical lighting signatures in the sides of the fascia, while additional lighting signatures are seen in the upper corners of the fascia in a slim, horizontal layout. A prominent trim line underscores the hood line, while also framing the top of the sleek, crest-shaped front grille. The grille includes a silver Cadillac badge and technical inner graphic, while complementary trim lines are seen lower in the front bumper.

The side view shows off a sloping roofline and rising shoulder line, with more dark-colored trim around the top of the sideview windows (also known as daylight openings) and along the lower portions of the doors. The wheels present a multi-spoke design with a two-tone finish, combining silver and black with a silver Cadillac crest in the center cap. The profile also includes a series of descending horizontal lines behind the C-pillar, an emerging design trend among Caddy’s EV CUVs, as GM Authority covered previously.

Finally, the rear end is covered in dirt, but still gives us a good look at the center stop light mounted in the spoiler, the vertical taillights, and the silver trim bits on the hatch and bumper.

As a reminder, the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq is expected to equip a two-motor GM Ultium powertrain doling out 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, with the GM BEV3 platform providing the underpinnings. Production will take place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

  1. Taking the powertrain argument out of the equation for the moment, I personally think it looks much more expensive, and premium over the XT6. I could live without the stripes on the rear window.

  2. This seems to be the perfect sized three row Crossover.
If GM can price this anywhere near the XT6 it should have a huge waiting list.

I showed to my friends wife and she placed a hold on getting a Tesla Model X until she sees this. She needs a new car no later than by end of 2025

    1. Define “near” an XT6. The smaller Lyriq is around 15K more than an equivalent XT6. Fully loaded. My dealer has top trim XT6 for around 70, Lyriq in top trim is around 85 at same dealer. And Lyriq still has no heads up. And until quite recently, my dealer could not get top trim Lyriq’s with leather, so you could not even get a top trim Lyriq, whereas no such constraint on the XT6. Dealer has had leather XT6 since the beginning. I’ve said it numerous times, this will breach 100K in nice trims. But to compare it to an X is nuts. The X’s are a gag in and out.

To me, EV’s currently need to be about 5K more than their ICE counterparts (Trim for Trim) and the same price no later than by 2030 (At the absolute latest)
Automakers that cannot meet that will be in serious trouble by the end of the Decade. Jut my personal opinion utilizing information that is currently available.

Mu opinion is that the Higher spec Lyriq is waaaaaay overpriced.
Seems like GM is doing that will All of their EV offerings thus far.

    2. I’m quite sure the upcoming refreshed Escalade will be a near match to what we are seeing here.

    3. Nice design, except for too much crome around rear window. Price is a real advantage. Cadillac must build truly the best as we enter an EV era where any smartphone company can build a vehicle like the new Chinese entry that supposedly rivals Porche.
GM benefitted from expertise, but an EV requires far less institutional knowledge or moving parts. Dealers aren’t really needed for maintenance.

    1. That’s exactly it. The silhouette looks like an Aviator with an Escalade front end. I think it looks great.

  5. Just like the Model X, we shall wait for these to fall off the lease and get them for cheap

  6. Interestingly on the last pic, this vehicle has a rear wiper. But I think too for the reasoning is that this vehicle’s rear glass is upright than slanted compared to the ‘Slade IQ and LYRIQ.

  11. The rear 3/4 stripes should be OPTIONAL. They look hideous.

    1. Yes, they look like aftermarket decals. Not exactly fitting for a brand new modern Cadillac.

  12. Wheels need refinement…. Look like a circus wagon’s.

  13. Yawn. An electric hearse?
Love all the xt6 comparisons. Xt6 is an embarrassment when compared to Lincoln Aviator in terms of interior “lux-ness”, exterior design, and powertrain performance/ exclusivity. Using xt6 as a benchmark is laughable. If you find the xt6 appealing or think it represents a good value, you have insanely low standards. You are not the customer Cadillac needs to be appealing to.
