First breaking cover for the 2020 model year, the C8 Corvette now offers three model variants, including the Corvette C8 Stingray, the Corvette C8 Z06, and the Corvette C8 E-Ray. The mid-engine Vette was expected to introduce a mid-cycle refresh in conjunction with the 2025 model year, debuting, among other things, several noteworthy updates to the interior. Now, however, new photos have hit the web suggesting that the 2025 Corvette could in fact march on without any significant cabin updates.
The photos in question were posted to the Corvette enthusiast website Mid Engine Corvette Forum, and claim to show the 2025 Corvette Z06 parked at the GM Bowling Green production facility. The model pictured appears to be a captured test fleet vehicle, which are usually built ahead of the regular production models to test out new model-year changes. However, looking over the interior photo, the cabin updates originally expected to debut with the 2025 Corvette are nowhere to be found. To note, this particular model appears to be painted in Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat paint (paint code GPH).
If these photos are indeed accurate, it would suggest that the 2025 Corvette will offer a continuation of the current C8 interior design, and as such, the timeline for the mid-cycle refresh originally expected for the 2025 model year has shifted.
Nevertheless, when the upcoming C8 refresh does finally debut, it is expected to delete the “wall of buttons” dividing the two seats along the center of the current cabin design. GM Authority sources also indicate that the refresh will revise the waterfall interior element behind and between the two seats, placing the inductive / wireless device charger in a more useful location.
Several new C8 Corvette variants are also in the works, all of which are expected to feature forced induction. These include the new Corvette C8 ZR1, as well as the Corvette C8 Zora.

Ain’t broke don’t fix it.
The wall of buttons is engineering trash.
Sir that’s not a Z06, that’s an E-ray. The front grill is not the Z06’s.
Grill color has nothing to do with model. Carbon flash or body color trim is an option on every C8 thus far. Zoom into the rear fender ahead of the wheel and a Z06 badge is visible clear as day.
Oh alright, I never saw that option. I just did a bunch of research to prove it, and you’re right! Thanks for checking me!
The eray has the same body as a z06
The Z07 wing is another indicator that the Corvette pictured is a Z06 and not an E-Ray.
If the interior remains unchanged, that would be quite disheartening. I’m set to acquire a 2025 model and had been eagerly anticipating this update, especially the location change of the phone charger.
I agree that the phone charger location sucks but the wall of buttons don’t bother me at all.
Glad this was cleared up: “Several new C8 Corvette variants are also in the works, all of which are expected to feature forced induction. These include the new Corvette C8 ZR1, as well as the Corvette C8 Zora.”
I read about that somewhere else and mistakenly developed the impression that forced induction would apply to future Stingrays too. Best to keep Stingray a little more affordable in my opinion.
ya better get three of em ready 1 for derelict uncle joey then the other for brother jimmy and last but certainly not least the producer big painter boy hunter has any one seen hunter?? All foreign spies dont forget to look behind new c8 zo6 in garage of joeys’ place for secret valuable documents pertaining to this country’s security. Have at it boys!

The price goes up with no changes for 2025! What items caused the prices to go up besides greed?
There are lots of costs associated with manufacturing. But if you assume that it’s just simple GM greed… Perhaps the price increase is from the greedy suppliers that are experiencing higher costs. Or it could be greedy employees working on an exclusive UAW contract that includes coverage from greedy health insurance companies – and more employees added to the retirement plan. Could be the greedy power companies charging more to build “Green New Scam” solar and wind. Or it could be the greedy government putting more regulation on manufacturing and excessively unnecessarily taxing certain materials. Have you checked the price of things like R-134a refrigerant and paints vs. a couple of years ago? Your government at work…
Or it could just be everything rolled up together: simple inflation. GM’s price increase is pretty much in line with that. No need to hate on GM.
