2024 Chevy S10 Midnight Edition Arrives In Argentina

Eight months after the official announcement of the Chevy S10 Midnight Edition in Argentina, General Motors has just announced the arrival of the midsize pickup truck’s new variant in the South American country.

The automaker finally launched the 2024 Chevy S10 Midnight Edition in the domestic market of Argentina, after overcoming several months of delay due to the multiple inconveniences and the country’s economic difficulties. The 2024 S10 Midnight arrives in the Argentine market with a limited number of units to satisfy the requirements of local pickup customers looking for a higher level of customization.

“The S10 Midnight expands the offering of our midsize pickup with a specific objective: to provide a model tailored to the profile of a consumer who is looking for a more exclusive and personal vehicle,” said Commercial Director of GM Argentina, Raúl Mier. “The S10 Midnight has great equipment and a lot of comfort, as well as a high performance level to enjoy it every day in the city, on the road and even on more challenging surfaces,” he added.

As GM Authority highlighted in the previous report on this variant of the midsize pickup for Argentina, the 2024 Chevy S10 Midnight Edition will not become a new trim level of the model as is the case in Brazil, but will be marketed in Argentine territory as a limited special edition with only 100 units available. As such, the Midnight trim will once again be a temporary addition to the local S10 range, at least with the truck’s current configuration.

Based on the intermediate LT trim level, the 2024 Chevy S10 Midnight Edition stands out for offering a completely blacked-out finish, with Gloss Black body moldings and appropriate emblems that give it a very distinctive appearance. Additionally, this version is the only one in the S10 range to feature the black Chevy Bow Tie, LED headlights with matte black housings, and no roof rack bars.

The 2024 Chevy S10 Midnight Edition is now available for sale throughout the official Chevrolet dealer network in Argentina, where only a single batch of 100 units will be offered as a special edition. It maintains the same powertrain and equipment list of the S10 LT available in the country, where it is offered with a three-year warranty. Here is pricing for the 2024 S10 Midnight in Argentina:

  • 2024 S10 Midnight: 54,351,900 pesos (about $63,590 USD at the current exchange rate)

  1. I still can’t believe GM doesn’t offer a small truck in the US.

    1. Duh, what do you think the Chevrolet Colorado and the GMC Canyon is then, they are GM products !!!

  2. Have you seen the Colorado?

    1. Speaking of the Colorado and Canyon, seen a couple loads being delivered somewhere. Out of 6 of them, there was one rated at 24 mpg highway, so where is the common sense of putting a 4 cyl , with more power on paper at least, in over a V-6 , that got better mileage and didn’t have to work so hard doing it. Seems to me, it would have been been better to build a 3 liter turbo, with more power, yet better mileage, less stress!

    2. Colorado isn’t small. It’s the size of full size Silverado from the 1990s.

      1. They do need a single cab short bed with manual 6 speed or 7 speed in these trucks. To appeal to more people, make it a targa top

      2. It might tow and haul payloads about the same, but it’s not the same size by any means.

  3. The first time I ever thought of owning a truck was when my brother bought an S-10 back in the early 80’s. I loved driving it and decided rather than buying one, I’d snatch his when I was in the mood. It’s too bad GM took it out of the U.S. market because I’m pretty sure it’d be a good seller with us females.
