Several accent packages for the 2024 Cadillac XT6 are available to order again, including the Blue Accent Package (RPO code PDL), the Bronze Accent Package (RPO code PDJ), and the Red Accent Package (RPO code PDK); GM Authority has learned.
The three 2024 Cadillac XT6 accent packages came under constraint in December 2023 and were not offered as an option between that time and their current return availability. The reason for the constraint is not publicly known.
The three accent packages are available only for the Sport trim of the 2024 Cadillac XT6. They cannot be ordered in conjunction with two other option packages, namely the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB) and the Onyx Lite Package (RPO code PCP). The Blue, Bronze, and Red Accent Packages are priced at $2,995 and can be combined with any exterior paint color.
The trio of Accent Packages for the 2024 Cadillac XT6 are made up of the contents listed below, with the body decals and wheel center caps matching the appropriate package color (RPO codes in parenthesis):
- Blue, Bronze, or Red body decal, LPO (SB9)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)
- 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (S2K)
- Blue, Bronze, or Red wheel center cap, LPO (5ZF or 5ZD)
- Black wheel lug nuts, LPO (SPY)
- Black wheel locks, LPO (SPZ)
- Tire Pressure Monitor, LPO (SD5)
GM originally intended to end production of the Cadillac XT6 and several other models with the 2024 model year. However, a 2025 model year XT6 will be offered in North America following a change of plans, along with the 2025 Cadillac XT5 and 2025 Cadillac CT4. Despite this, the fate of the XT6 crossover in the USA and Canada remains in doubt.
GM Authority also exclusively reported on a new Cadillac XT6 set to debut in China in 2024. It is unclear at this point if the new Chinese XT6 will be a refreshed variant of the current first generation or if it will mark the launch of an overhauled second generation of the crossover.
As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac XT6 rides on the GM C1 platform, while North American production is underway at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.
