The 2024 Cadillac XT5 crossover is once again available with two accent packages previously under supply constraint, specifically the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB) and the Onyx Lite Package (RPO code PCP), joining several other packages already offered for the model.
The Onyx and Onyx Lite Packages are available on the Sport trim level only, respectively priced at $4,395 and $3,895. These packages cannot be ordered in conjunction with the 20-inch Chrome wheels (RPO code S1T), which are an LPO or dealer-installed option.
The Onyx Package for the 2024 Cadillac XT5 is comprised of the following content (RPO codes in parentheses):
- 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (S2K)
- Gloss Black bodyside moldings, LPO (RWK)
- Gloss Black rear license plate applique, LPO (RXX)
- Gloss Black front fascia applique, LPO (QJ5)
- Gloss Black grille, LPO (SJA)
- Gloss Black exhaust bezel, LPO (VMP)
- Gloss Black XT5 nameplate, LPO (RIK)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)
Meanwhile, the following elements make up the Onyx Lite Package:
- 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (S2K)
- Gloss Black bodyside moldings, LPO (RWK)
- Gloss Black rear license plate applique, LPO (RXX)
- Gloss Black front fascia applique, LPO (QJ5)
- Gloss Black exhaust bezel, LPO (VMP)
- Gloss Black XT5 nameplate, LPO (RIK)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)
Notably, the only difference between the two packages is that the Onyx Package includes the Gloss Black grille (RPO code SJA), while the Onyx Lite Package does not.
Three other accent packages were already offered on the 2024 Cadillac XT5, including the Bronze Accent Package (PDJ), the Blue Accent Package (PDL) and the Red Accent Package (PDK). Like the two Onyx packages, these accent packages are available to order only on the Sport trim of the crossover. Each is priced at $2,995 additional and can be chosen in conjunction with any exterior paint color.
As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac XT5 is motivated by one of two powerplants, including the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine developing 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Cog swaps for both engines are handled by the GM nine-speed automatic transmission, while drivetrain options include either FWD or AWD.
The GM C1 platform provides the underpinnings for the Cadillac XT5, while production of the crossover is carried out at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.
