The 2024 Cadillac CT5-V sedan has gotten a new seating option per information from GM, with the exciting High-performance front bucket seats joining the seating choices offered for the performance-minded V-series car.
The High-performance front bucket seats (RPO code AQJ) carry a price tag of $2,890 on the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V, and come bundled with the High-performance steering wheel (RPO code BTH) for an even more track-ready cockpit feel.
These new bucket seats cannot be combined with Super Cruise, possibly because the included steering wheel is incompatible with the system. Furthermore, the Cold Weather Package (RPO code Y6F) is a prerequisite for the bucket seats, with the package itself priced separately at $600.
The CT5-V is gaining a seat type already offered on the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing variant with this new addition. The High-performance front seats are also optioned for $2,890 on the Blackwing.
Materials used on the High-performance front bucket seats include leather, performance cloth, sueded microfiber and Inteluxe. The Jet Black with Jet Black accents interior colorway (RPO code HEA) is the only color choice offered with the bucket seats.
While it is a V-series variant boasting extra power and features compared to the “ordinary” Cadillac CT5, the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V still slots in below the peak-performance Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. Pricing starrts are $52,890 for rear-wheel-drive sedans and at $54,890 for all-wheel drive. MSRPs have increased $500 across the board compared to the 2023 model year.
One powerplant is available to motivate the CT5-V, the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine developing 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain is mated to the GM Hydra-Matic 10-speed automatic transmission with a choice of RWD and AWD configurations as noted above.
For structure, the Cadillac CT5-V uses the GM Alpha 2 platform under the body panels. Production is carried out at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. Potential buyers can use the official configurator tool to check out different combinations of features, including seating, for the CT5-V.

For me, the seats would be worth it to delete super cruise! They look snug. I have the Recaro seat pkg in my V. Nice seats.
MkAtx if you never use super cruise it’s worth it…but I mean I just want to know why you can’t have super cruise if you want it with performance bucket seats, what did they put you asleep 😂 lol, the steering wheel could be an issue I’m guessing it’s the steering wheel so why not just keep the standard steering wheel with the new performance bucket seats for people who want both the performance bucket seats and super cruise? It’s 2024 and this sounds like an option from 1994.
Why does it carry the v name also why is caddilac trying kill off all the cars folks want these eletric xt5’s and others won’t sell only a few will buy them I’ve bought 5 caddys over the years if eletric is my only option on a new one I quess my new caddy days are over
