GM has added a new seat option for the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V luxury sedan. The High-performance front bucket seats (RPO code AQJ) are an excellent new option on one of our favorite sport sedans.
The High-performance front bucket seats can be optioned for $3,000. They’re bundled with the High-performance steering wheel (RPO code BTH) to add a more high-performance vibe to the cabin.
Choosing the High-performance front bucket seats requires the Cold Weather Package (RPO code Y19) priced at $600 to be equipped on the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V sedan. The seats cannot be ordered with Super Cruise, possibly because of the unique steering wheel. Notably, the same seats were already available on the track-ready 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing variant of the CT4 at the same price of $3,000.
The upholstery of the High-performance front bucket seats consists of a mix of leather, performance cloth, sueded microfiber, and Inteluxe fabrics. They can be combined with a single interior color scheme; the Jet Black with Jet Black accents interior colorway (RPO code HBE).
As a reminder, GM Authority already provided complete pricing data for the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V. Prices for the sedan variant climbed $500 relative to the 2023 model year. The starting MSRP increased to $48,490 for the RWD configuration or $49,590 for a CT4-V equipped with AWD, with destination freight charge or DFC included. The online configurator for the 2024 vehicle is currently live.
The Cadillac CT4-V cradles a single powerplant option under the hood. The turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine is rated at 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired as standard with the GM Hydra-Matic 10-speed automatic transmission, with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive as the available drivetrain configurations. The vehicle can jump from zero to 60 mph in an estimated 4.8 seconds, with speed maxing out at 156 mph. This is the happy medium between the regular CT4 and the pricier Blackwing variant.
Under the body panels, all variants of the Cadillac CT4 utilize the GM Alpha 2 platform for structure, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
