If you love the C8 Corvette, but moonlight as a secret agent, the folks at Rezvani Motors might have the perfect solution. Say hello to the new Rezvani Beast, a mid-engine sports car based on the eighth-generation Vette that offers the sort of gadgetry you’d normally find in a spy movie. It also produces 1,000 horsepower.
Let’s start with the performance. Mounted behind the cabin, you’ll once again find the 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, but this time around, it has two turbochargers strapped to it, boosting output up to four figures. Output reaches the rear wheels through a Tremec-sourced eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the custom carbon fiber body helps to reduce weight. Rezvani claims that the new Beast tips the scales at just 2,960 pounds, which, in conjunction with the meaty Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R rubber and 1,000-horsepower V8, sends the sports car from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds, and through the quarter mile in 9.6 seconds.
The cabin space was upgraded as well, and features a heads-up display, carbon fiber seats trimmed in leather, and a Bose stereo. The steering wheel was redone with inspiration taken from Formula 1 race cars. Exterior aesthetics include quad rear exhaust tips arranged in a vertical layout, a removable targa top, and dihedral doors for an added bit of drama upon exit.
Aspiring intelligence operatives will be interested in the 007 Package, which, for an additional $45,000, adds in a wealth of helpful features, including a smoke screen, military run-flat tires, thermal night vision, EMP protection, electrified door handles, rear-facing blinder lights, magnetic dead bolts, gas masks, and a pepper spray dispenser, among other things. There’s also the $55,000 Bullet Proof package, which adds armor to the body and bulletproof glass.
The Rezvani Beast starts at $485,000, with production limited to just 20 units.

Neat car that doesn’t need all the gimmicks.
The next bond movie better have this in it
At least they got the rear license plate in the proper position. Hear that GM Design?
