Here Is 2025 Chevy Trax Pricing With Options And Packages

Following up on the debut of an all-new second-generation in conjunction with the 2024 model year, the 2025 Chevy Trax brings with it a few important updates and changes of its own. Among these are new standard tech features and a new E85-compatible engine. Now, GM Authority is taking a closer look at the 2025 Chevy Trax with the following pricing breakdown, including all the options and packages on offer.

The 2025 Chevy Trax debuts a few important updates and changes.

The 2025 Chevy Trax is available in five trim levels, including 1LS, 1RS, 1LT, 2RS, and Activ. Pricing starts at $21,895 for the base-level 1LS, rising to $23,895 for 1RS, $24,095 for 1LT, $25,895 for 2RS, and $25,895 for Activ. All trims are equipped with front-wheel drive as standard, while all-wheel drive is not currently offered for the second-generation Trax.

Note that all MSRP figures listed here include the destination freight charge, which rose from $1,095 to $1,295, factored into a late-February 2025 price increase of $300 to $400, depending on the trim level, in addition to an April 2025 destination freight charge increase from $1,295 to $1,395. It also bears mentioning that some 2025 Chevy Trax trim levels were more expensive than equivalent 2024-model-year trim levels at launch, with the starting price for 2025 Chevy Trax 1RS and LT trims now $700 more expensive, and the starting price for 2025 Chevy Trax 2RS and Activ now $900 more expensive.

Highlights in the options list include the LS Convenience Package (RPO code ZFT, $995), the Sunroof Package (RPO code ZL3, $795 for 1RS, $895 for 1LT, 2RS, and Activ), and the Driver Confidence Package (RPO code WPA, $395 for 1LS and 1RS, $795 for 1LT, 2RS, and Activ).

The exterior paint color lineup includes eight different options, with Marina Blue Metallic (paint code GKN) and Nitro Yellow Metallic offered as the only extra-charge colors. Pricing for both colors is set at $395.

  1. Well, at least this attempt got the pricing correct. Sorry, but the Trax is a no-go for me without the option of a power driver seat on the LT. I’d rather an Envista Preferred for just a few dollars more.

  2. 50 ways to black it out but zero ways to get a padded armrest or a power driver’s seat on anything that isn’t a blacked out Active trim. Sounds about right

    1. The armrest isn’t bad. I hardly notice it.

  3. Thank you for sharing. Thank you also for sharing the dealer installed options and their prices. The Trax is still reasonably priced, and still on my shopping list for affordable transportation.

  4. The 2024, 2025 Chevy Trax is a great feature filled affordable roomy vehicle for someone that doesn’t want to spend $36K on an SUV/CUV.

  5. I just bought a 2025 Activ and I love it! The armrests are fine. I love the way it handles. It has a sunroof – here’s hoping that it won’t leak! The price was great & I’m loving the seats!
It does feel smaller inside than my Hyundai Tucson, but it’s pretty sporty and comfortable!
