Here Is 2024 Chevy Equinox EV Super Cruise Availability

The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV made its formal introduction early in the 2022 calendar year, debuting a small, battery-powered crossover equipped with GM’s latest Ultium battery and Ultium Drive motor technology. In addition to a cutting-edge propulsion system, the new Chevy Equinox EV also offers GM’s semi-autonomous Super Cruise driver assist system. Now, GM Authority is highlighting Super Cruise availability for the Chevy Equinox EV.

The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV offers the GM Super Cruise system.

Customers eager to equip their new Chevy Equinox EV with Super Cruise will need to opt for the Active Safety Package 3, which is tagged with RPO code AS3 and includes Super Cruise (RPO code UKL) and Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist (RPO code UKZ). Active Safety Package 3 is priced at $2,700 for Chevy Equinox EV 2LT, 3RS, 3LT, and 3RS trim levels.

For the moment, equipment and features for the 1LT trim level are unavailable, and as a result, it’s unclear if the 1LT will offer Super Cruise. However, it’s expected that the 1LT will not offer Super Cruise. It’s also worth mentioning that Super Cruise is a standard feature on the Equinox EV 2RS Launch Edition. However, the 2RS Launch Edition is currently sold out.

As a reminder, the GM Super Cruise feature allows the driver to remove their hands from the steering wheel during extended periods of highway driving on select stretches of roads throughout North America. Although the system is not fully autonomous, it does include features like hands-free lane changing. GM recently announced that it will add an additional 350,000 miles to the system coverage, nearly doubling the coverage offered previously. The new coverage includes both divided highways and some two-lane roads.

As for the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV, the new crossover rides on the GM BEV3 platform, while production is under way now at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.

  2. The RS editions will be the first units out for sale. Wait until your local dealer gets them.

  3. GM should make Supercruise STANDARD on all new models going forward. It would be a bold statement of confidance in their new technology, put the competition on notice, and offer a little percieved value to customers struggling to justify the ASTRONOMICAL base prices of new vehicles. That being said, GM has not been bold, innovative or trend setting with anything in the last 50 years… (See Tesla, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia etc.)

    1. They ARE demonstrating confidEnce in the package. They are selling it for 20% of the competitors cost for similar systems. They aren’t even making it subscription based for the first 8 years.

  4. If that were true you wouldn’t be here to comment about it.
