Following the delay of the model’s mid-cycle refresh until the launch of the 2025 GMC Yukon, the 2024 GMC Yukon introduces only a handful of changes and updates compared to the previous model year. GM Authority previously looked at the SUV’s exterior paint colors, while today, the spotlight is on the 2024 model year’s available wheels.
GM offers 13 wheel choices across the five trim levels of the 2024 GMC Yukon, which include the SLE, SLT, AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate trims. Four of the wheels are LPO or dealer-installed components, while one set of 18-inch rollers is offered, the rest being 20-inch or 22-inch.
Wheel availability varies across the different 2024 GMC Yukon trims, with some wheels that are standard on one trim offered as an extra-charge option on another. One optional wheel set is available at no additional charge, while the rest are priced at anywhere from $425 to $3,295. The following table shows the details:

Following a delay in the start of production likely related to the UAW Stand Up Strike that caused a postponement past the original November 6th start date, the 2024 GMC Yukon is currently rolling off the assembly line. MSRP starts at $58,200 with the Yukon configurator currently live on the GMC website.
The SUV is offered in both its standard length and the extended-length GMC Yukon XL. The standard configuration has a length of 210 inches, providing 25.5 cubic feet of cargo room behind the third row. The 225.2-inch length of the Yukon XL configuration boosts cargo capacity to 41.5 cubic feet of cargo room behind the third row and increases third-row legroom by about 2 inches.
The 2024 GMC Yukon cradles one of three available engines for motivation, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine developing 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine developing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine providing 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. All engines are paired as standard with the GM 10-speed automatic transmission.
The GMC Yukon continues to use the GM T1 platform as its bones, with production taking place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
