Here Are All The 2024 GMC Sierra Interior Colors

Following a mid-cycle refresh in 2022 and some changes for the 2023 model year, the 2024 GMC Sierra gets only a handful of updates as the sixth model year of the Sierra’s fifth generation. Today, GM Authority is zooming in on the available GMC Sierra interior colors and materials available for the current model year.

Notably, several of the GMC Sierra interior colors are available as extra-charge options or are offered only in conjunction with a package. Bucket seats are a $620 option for the Elevation trim level, but they require choosing the 5.3L V8 L84 engine or the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine beforehand.

Additionally, bucket seats on the SLT trim GMC Sierra interior are included and only available with the SLT Convenience Package (RPO code PCY) priced at $1,670, the SLT Premium Package (RPO code PDB) priced at $3,470, the Texas Edition SLT Premium Package (RPO code PDC) priced at $3,470, the SLT Premium Plus Package (RPO code PDT) priced at $6,550 or the $6,550 Texas Edition SLT Premium Plus Package (RPO code PDW).

In addition to its many trim levels, the 2024 GMC Sierra truck is offered with multiple different powerplants. Gasoline engines include the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine (now branded as TurboMax), generating 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine rated at 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, and the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque The single available diesel powerplant, the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax, develops 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.

One of the few major changes for the 2024 model year is that the trail-capable 2024 GMC Sierra AT4X now cradles the LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax as standard. Its previous exclusive engine choice, the atmospheric L87 V8 gasoline engine, is now offered as an optional alternative to the LZ0.

The GM T1 platform still provides the underpinnings for the 2024 GMC Sierra. Production is currently taking place at both the GM Fort Wayne plant in Indiana and the GM Silao plant in Mexico.

  1. Tying an interior color to certain engines is beyond stupid. Black is a terrible color for a real truck interior. The only interior that really is a color is Alpine Umber.

    1. Tell us you don’t use your truck for work without actually telling us. Black is by far the best, it shows the least dirt and grime. Lighter colors are the worst, our old SUV when used as a pool maintenance vehicle looked ragged in short time. The black interiors have by far been the best for looking the least dirty.

      1. Well I have a 1995 regular cab 8 foot bed Silverado with cloth bench seat in light gray. I’m a carpenter building new homes and drove 132 miles from San Diego to Calexico worked all day in 100 degree heat and drove back home. Then drove to the Colorado river with the wife, granddaughter and a dog every other weekend from May to October for 3 years in a row lunching my boat and jet skis. I never had to shampoo upholstery and it still looks like new. If I was wet or dirty I put a towel on the seat. Best of all I wasn’t being cooked in a cab with Black interior.

  2. I don’t know how just jet black can be considered to be eight different choices just because the seat material or configuration changes. This isn’t variety at all.

  3. Any color you want, as long as it’s black.

    1. I remember blue, red, tan/ beige, gray, white. Probably not cost efficient.
But now they have 3 different dashboards?

  4. You want an option that costs maybe $700, you have to buy 2 or 3 “Packages”, you don’t want, that total 2 or $3000.

  5. Not everyone needs a “work” truck. Nothing wrong with someone who likes black to choose that color. People that don’t “need” or absolutely cannot stand black should not be forced into that being the only choice. Hate it, it’s ugly. Not a fan of the seats being a lighter color and the dash along with everything else being black. Just not appealing, none of it. It’s a sign of insanity to design an all-black interior, someone has lost their marbles.

  7. I live in the south and I don’t want to get roasted every summer day. I guess the people that make the decisions don’t live in the real world. For the price that is being charged the consumer should have more than two choices that are very similar.
