Here Are All The 2024 GMC Canyon Paint Colors

As the second model year after the third generation of Big Red’s midsize truck debuted in 2023, the 2024 GMC Canyon rolls out a number of minor updates and changes, headlined by the introduction of the AT4X AEV Edition package (RPO code XEV). However, there are no changes to the Canyon paint colors compared to the 2023 pickup.

Today, GM Authority is zooming in on those 2024 GMC Canyon paint colors and their availability across the trim lineup.

GM offers eight Canyon paint colors for the 2024 model year, with only one, Summit White (color code GAZ) offered as a no-charge option across all four trim levels, including the Elevation, AT4, Denali, and AT4X. The other seven colors are extra-charge options, with six priced at $495 and Volcanic Red Tintcoat (color code GNT) at $845.

All eight colors are available on all trim levels of the 2024 GMC Canyon. The table below summarizes their availability, color codes, and cost:

Desert Sand Metallic GTL $495 A A - A

Following delays like related to the UAW Stand Up Strike which caused the pickup to miss its late October 2023 start of regular production (SORP) date, the 2024 Canyon is now in production. GM Authority previously revealed full pricing info for the truck, The Elevation and AT4 trims are $800 cheaper than their 2023 model-year counterparts.

MSRP starts at $37,595 for the base Elevation trim, while the range-topping AT4X has a $55,895 starting price. The online configurator for the 2024 Canyon is currently live at the GMC website. 2WD is standard on the Elevation trim only, with the other three trim levels equipped with standard 4WD.

As a reminder, the 2024 GMC Canyon has a single engine choice available across its trim level lineup, the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine rated at 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. This powerplant now gains the TurboMax branding for the 2024 model year.

Under the body panels, the Canyon is underpinned by an updated variant of the GMT 31XX platform, with production taking place at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri.

    1. I have been waiting since last March and my dealer hasn’t even gotten an allocation to build yet. I may have to hang onto my 2021 Canyon Denali.

  4. I’ve been a Toyota fan for years, now I want an American made GMC Canyon Denali but this BS has got to stop. I put my money down on a 2024 factory ordered truck, I was told it would take a few months, but I could keep track of the progress with the order number. I called the dealership last week and was told that they had no number to give me? ( WTF) is going on?

    1. Sounds like my dealership. I called them and said to contact the factory and light a fire under their a** and get some answers, Now they tell me they probably won’t get an allocation to build until April. Apparently my dealership doesn’t sell that many Canyons and Colorados so they are low on the list, but they are hemorrhaging Silverados! Who came up with this factory allocation business? Years ago you walked into the dealership, specified what you wanted and they put in the order and you got you vehicle in 8 to 12 weeks. Easy peasy.

  5. Good luck getting your new canyon. I waited seven months for mine and now it’s been in service three times for the info statement center has crashed.. I had a 2015 Canyon SLT, and it never saw the inside of a service dept.
Maybe GM should spend more time on getting it right then concentrating on colors.
GM tech people have got to get their head out of their butt

    1. Sorry to hear about your issues with your new truck. I’m sure the Canyons aren’t the only vehicles that are having some issues. Tesla is dealing with software issues, Bronco’s also have issues, and the list goes on. I don’t think there are any “perfect” vehicles manufactured anywhere. Just be happy that it is covered under warranty.

  6. Amazing that gm even posts this type of information. I have been waiting to see a white canyon Denali for a year and a half. My local dealer says they will be happy to order one!!!! I won’t buy until I see one!!!
Got tired of waiting and bought a Jeep wrangler. At least they have better resale value. And their stereo works. Also you can run it thru a car wash!!!!
Sorry, gm. If you can’t deliver a product , people won’t buy!!!
