GM’s premium SUV, the 2024 Cadillac Escalade, ushers in only a few updates and changes compared to the previous model year, with the mid-cycle refresh delayed until the 2025 Escalade‘s launch. While GM Authority has previously detailed the vehicle’s exterior paint colors and interior colorways, today we’re zooming in on the available Cadillac Escalade wheels for 2024.
Five Cadillac Escalade wheels are offered across the SUV’s five trim levels, including the Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum and Sport Platinum trims. Four of these are factory-installed wheels equipped as standard, while one is an LPO or dealer-installed option.
The single set of LPO Cadillac Escalade wheels is available only as part of the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB) offered on the Sport and Sport Platinum trim levels. All of the Cadillac Escalade wheels featured on the 2024 model year are 22 inches in diameter, as the following table shows:

Pricing for all trim levels of the 2024 Cadillac Escalade is $1,200 higher compared to 2023, as previously uncovered by GM Authority. Prices are also higher for the Escalade-V and Escalade-V ESV variants, with a $1,700 year-over-year increase. Potential buyers can now use the online configurator to try out various builds of the SUV as well.
Two powerplants are available for the 2024 Escalade, specifically the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine cranking out 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The GM 10-speed automatic transmission is mated to both engines as standard, while the drivetrain can be configured as either RWD or 4WD.
Among the handful of changes for 2024, GM dropped Mahogany Metallic (paint code G48) from the available paint lineup, while adding Black Diamond Tricoat (paint code GLK) as a limited-availability color exclusive to the high-performance Cadillac Escalade-V.
For structure, the Cadillac Escalade continues to rely on the GM T1 platform. Production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

These wheels are utter garbage. Theyre as plain and boring as the design team.
Ed Welburn once said in an interview that there’s a lot of good money in wheels. I’d never pay extra for wheels. They’re for looks only and I can’t see them when I’m driving down the road.
To be honest I don’t like most new car wheels either they are cheap looking to me anyway machine faced black and silver, fake chrome, or black which I like then grey that looks like black! Like the Honda Accord wheels they look to big and they have that annoying ultra low profile tire good luck in NY and NJ in the northeast with pot holes and roads that get Best up over the winter.
The wheels make or break how well an auto looks amongst others. More emphasis should be placed on wheel design. Does not get the attention they deserve. Not sure how much GM enlists the help of customers to serve as advisors. Just saying.
Lets see the 2025 redesign already!!
