Chevy Blazer EV Lease Available In February 2024

In February 2024, a Chevy Blazer EV lease is available in local markets on the RS trim level. Newly produced units of the all-electric midsize crossover should be eligible for the $7,500 EV tax credit, but for units in inventory that aren’t, GM is offering a $7,500 Ultium Promise cash rebate of $7,500.

Local market leases are available on the 2024 Chevy Blazer. The all-electric midsize crossover is shown here in the sporty RS trim.

About Chevrolet Blazer EV

In July 2022, the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV made its official debut, ushering in the Bow Tie’s mass-market midsize battery-electric crossover. Headlined by a maximum GM-estimated range of 320 miles from a full charge, the Chevy Blazer EV will be available in front-, rear- and all-wheel drive configurations, while the trim level lineup will include 2LT, RS, and Blazer EV SS, along with a Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) model for law enforcement, making it the quickest police package ever offered by Chevy.

The first two trim levels on sale are the Chevy Blazer EV 2LT AWD and RS AWD, but the upcoming RS RWD will include a higher capacity battery pack than these trim levels.

The Bow Tie brand is even introducing a Super Sport model with the first-ever 2024 Chevy Blazer EV SS. A standard performance AWD propulsion configuration delivers up to 557 horsepower and 648 pound-feet of torque in the crossover, enabling a zero to 60 mph time of under four seconds in the Wide Open Watts (WOW) acceleration setting. Additional performance-focused features include a specific sport-tuned chassis and Brembo front brakes.

Check out the horsepower and torque figures of the 2024 Blazer EV RS RWD along with the 2LT AWD and RS AWD variants.

The Chevy Blazer EV was among NACTOY’s “Best of 2024” list, being among the 25 vehicles advancing to the finalist round of the 30th annual North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year Awards and one of 10 semifinalists for 2024 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year.

Additionally, the Chevy Blazer EV was named 2024 MotorTrend SUV of the Year. The publication says that the 2024 Blazer EV is “easy to drive, easy to live with, easy to use,” offering a “fiery” design with real “swagger.”

On a side note, the Chevy Blazer EV doesn’t include free home charging station installation like select buyers of the Chevy Bolt EV and Bolt EUV get.

The all-electric midsize crossover rides on the GM BEV3 platform, while GM Ultium batteries pair with GM Ultium Drive motors for motivation.

A Chevy Blazer EV stop-sale order issued in January is still in effect as GM works hard to resolve software issues.

  1. With the massive recall still in play, who is going to buy this vehicle? I will be surprised If GM moves 10,000 of these this year.

  2. Started out badly with the software glitches. Hopefully gm expedites rectifying the issues and restart promotions to increase sales.

    1. Problem is that it is not only the EV’s having software glitches! this is across the board with all of gm products right now. and what about the cracked blocks on the 2023MY trucks? gm quality is becoming an issue, dont get me wrong…. I love gm and have been a lifetime believer, they just need to look deeper into why this is happening.

  4. Hmmm….stop sale order still in effect….
“But here’s an incentive to lease one. But you can’t really. But we will have to have some reason to talk about this trainwreck before people totally forget about it. So here’s an incentive! But you can’t really.”
    Ok.

  5. It’s low quality. Get the Honda equivalent, no stupid assembly there.

    1. Uh, it’s assembled on the same line by the same people.

  6. How do you lease a vehicle that’s on stop sale? Sign the lease papers now but don’t take delivery and start paying until the stop sale is lifted perhaps?

I recently read on another automotive site that the stop sale is projected to last until the end of May. No idea if that’s true or not but if it is….wow!

    1. Good Question – stop sale means exactly that, dealers are not allowed to sell, lease, or even demonstrate the vehicles..it’s essentially a worthless incentive. The icing on the cake is the IRS website that allows the dealer to apply the 7500 credit – basically fronting the money so the customer doesn’t have to apply for it – has been a typical govt disaster which means most dealers aren’t going to risk not getting reimbursed by the govt and so aren’t going to pass along the EV credit….can’t really blame them.

  7. Who, in their right mind, would lease a chevy for $971 per month????

  8. I was researching inventory on the gm web site and I see that some dealers not local to me are reducing the price by 4k besides the 7500. I wonder what that is about. Now they are not in stock and it could be a good old trick to get people to engage. But if its real…I might line up for a Blazer instead of an Equinox….and it seemed to require a June delivery too on purchase.

    1. And now I saw the same 11500 total on a Lyriq estimate a FB poster made asking if it was a good deal so it seems up to June GM is or the dealer is offering 4k more on top of the 7500 too.

  9. Frank I wouldn’t lease ANY car for $971 a month six or seven years ago a little more money was a nice home payment,we bought out house in 2016 and pay a little over $1150 a month…no way in hell I don’t care if drives itself and makes coffee ☕ in the morning! I don’t even think the luxury brands should be this expensive!
