Chevrolet Launches Four New Paint Colors For Brazil

General Motors has just announced the launch of four new paint options for Chevrolet models in Brazil.

The automaker announced it will launch four new body colors for Chevrolet’s 2025 model year vehicle lineup in Brazil, where the Bow Tie brand has a team of specialists responsible for identifying trends and helping develop new paint options for the locally manufactured vehicles. The new range of colors will arrive on the Chevy Onix, Tracker, Montana, and the updated 2025 Chevy Spin models.

“Every Chevrolet launch always comes with a distinct color, capable of highlighting the character of the vehicle, highlighting the design elements, and marking the moment,” said GM South America Design Manager Alexandre Ameri. “It takes approximately three years to define the ideal color palette for a model, as consumer preferences are always changing direction.” He added that “everything in fashion, art, and architecture influences [colors].”

All-new Boreal Blue color

The first of four new vehicle colors that Chevrolet will launch this year in Brazil is called “Boreal Blue.” This unique hue recently debuted with the updated 2025 Chevy Spin, which will go on sale at the end of March. This new shade of blue, which, according to GM Brazil, “refers to technology,” will also be available simultaneously next month for the Chevy Tracker and Montana – which are manufactured at the GM São Caetano do Sul plant next to the Spin MPV.

According to a recent survey conducted by Chevrolet, there is a clear trend in the Brazilian market towards more colorful vehicles. In fact, the brand has been registering an increase in demand for brighter colors such as blue, red, and green, which currently represent 14 percent of the total sales of the Chevrolet line in Brazil. That’s a three percent increase since 2019. But the one that has had the greatest growth is blue, which went from two to seven percent.

In addition to the new Boreal Blue, the other three new Chevrolet paint options in Brazil will soon debut in the 2025 model lineup and will be revealed alongside the brand’s upcoming launches. In particular, GM Brazil clarifies that each color shade has its own name and can change depending on the market due to a series of factors, such as the sound in the local language or even the dominant territory of the product.
