2024 GMC Terrain Deep Bronze Metallic Paint Built Out For Model Year

The 2024 GMC Terrain debuts the seventh model year for the second-generation crossover, bringing with it only a few small changes compared to the preceding 2023 model year. Revisions include a few new exterior paint options, as well as small updates to the optional packages. Now, GM Authority has learned that the 2024 GMC Terrain is no longer available to order in Deep Bronze Metallic paint (paint code GXN).

The 2024 GMC Terrain is no longer available to order in Deep Bronze Metallic paint.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the 2024 GMC Terrain is no longer available to order in Deep Bronze Metallic paint because the hue has been built out for the remainder of the 2024 model year. It’s unclear if Deep Bronze Metallic will return to the paint options list for the 2025 GMC Terrain, but at this point, it looks unlikely.

Deep Bronze Metallic paint was introduced to the GMC Terrain lineup in conjunction with the 2023 model year.

The rest of the 2024 GMC Terrain paint options lineup includes (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):

  • Downpour Metallic (GXP)
  • Ebony Twilight Metallic (GB8)
  • Riptide Metallic (GJV)
  • Sterling Metallic (GXD)
  • Summit White (GAZ)
  • Volcanic Red Tintcoat (GNT)
  • White Frost Tricoat (G1W)

Summit White is the only no-cost paint option offered, with Volcanic Red Tintcoat priced at $645, White Frost Tricoat priced at $1,095, and the rest of the paint options priced at $495.

Under the hood, the 2024 GMC Terrain cradles the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, rated at a maximum of 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. The GM nine-speed automatic transmission provides the cog swaps, while under the skin, the Terrain rides on the GM D2 platform. Production takes place at the GM San Luis Potosí plant in Mexico.

Looking ahead, the 2025 GMC Terrain is expected to introduce an all-new third generation for the crossover, complete with new styling, an overhauled interior, an updated platform, and a new engine.
