The 2024 Chevy Equinox crossover adds two new exterior paint colors to its palette, both of which are blue hues, including Lakeshore Blue Metallic and Riptide Blue Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Riptide paint option.

Motivation for the 2024 Chevy Equinox is provided by the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine as the only powerplant option. This engine cranks out 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. The 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine was added to the 2023 model-year crossover as a replacement for the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LYX gasoline engine powering earlier model years. The engine is paired with the GM six-speed automatic transmission, and connects to a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
Under the body panels, the Equinox is supported by the GM D2 platform. Production of the third-generation Equinox’s final model year will wrap up at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in April 2024, and at the GM San Luis Potosà plant in October 2024. The 2025 Chevy Equinox will take up the torch as it debuts the next generation of the nameplate.

Looks like a Ford color, still not a fan of the nasty black wheels.
IDK, nasty black wheels look pretty good on a Porsche 911 GTS
I believe the picture of an Equinox with the white roof in this article is an EV Equinox, not a petrol powered model.
I have been living with this since mid August ! The RS wheels are a dark grey metallic ,not black . Decent match! Great colour!
I like this color and the black non boomer chrome wheels looks great…but seriously black wheels work with this color silver or machined wheels would not look as good.
